Boyd Restoration Remodeling did a great job explaining and understanding what the Club was looking and even gave some ideas as well. When the job was completed, it turned out great and everyone was very happy with the finished product. Highly recommend them for any Dry Sauna work.

I am grateful to have found Brian to do our bathroom remodel. He took the challenge of a 100 year old home in stride and created a modern beauty. Other contractors told me I could not have a curbless shower. Our new walk-in shower is a work of art. Brian is creative, hardworking and honest. It was a pleasure working with Brian and his crew. They were in and out in three weeks! We have done many remodeling projects but never in only three weeks. We will definitely use Boyd Restoration again.

All customers have one concern when it comes to contractors - do they care? Will shortcuts be taken? Will I receive the full service that I am paying for? There are no worries with Boyd, the only thing you'll second guess is yourself (did I get the best paint color?). Boyd has integrity and skills. A lazy contractor will miss something and pretend that they didn't notice, or will hope that you don't. You don't have to worry about any of that with Boyd - they work on your house as if it's their own. Boyd only hires those with a high level of skill and character (such as Jeremy, thank you!). Boyd Restoration has completed two projects for us. Because of our first experience (installing ceiling fans and other electrical work), we called them back for some more extensive remodeling, drywall repair, new lighting, bathroom and floor work. Expect to pay a fair and reasonable price. If you're looking for the cheapest, you can find that elsewhere - and you'll get what you pay for.

Brian has done several projects for us: a porch railing that he designed and cleared with our historic neighborhood; a patio and drainage project in the back yard; a full gut and remodel of the family bathroom; a full gut and remodel of our kitchen. Plus several other smaller projects such as new lighting fixtures and water heater replacement. Brian is always helpful in advising us about our options, always knowledgeable, always absolutely honest. The work he has done for us has without exception been excellent. He is very picky about the quality, whether it's his own employee or a sub who did it. I have always felt like he was our advocate, not an adversary. The horror stories you hear about contractors never cross my mind when we work with Brian. If something is not right, or broken, even three years later, he has come back and fixed it with no charge and no quibbling. All I had to do was tell him about it. As I was staying home during the time of the work, I was there when Brian's employees and subcontractors were working. He never bought anyone into my house who made me nervous or who behaved inappropriately. In fact, I felt like I was safer with them there than I would have been at home alone, they were such good people. Also, I have had situations where a different contractor supervised employees at my house, and was rude and even verbally abusive toward them. But NEVER have I seen Brian treat anyone that way. He will correct workers, as he has very high standards. But he does so courteously. If you care about having a peaceful and kind atmosphere in your home, hire Brian. Also, Brian conducts business in a scrupulously legal and ethical manner. He's licensed, bonded, and insured. He fully adheres to employment law. He doesn't shirk his responsibilities by saying his employees are self-employed so he doesn't have to pay payroll taxes. He pays even unskilled workers, whom he is training, a living wage of $15 an hour, because that's what he believes is right. If you care about supporting ethical businesses, hire Brian. Are you going to have to pay him more than you would have to pay some other contractors? Most likely. We don't really know. We were so pleased with his work after the first project he did for us, that we stopped asking for other bids. For that extra amount, whatever it was, we got complete peace of mind, peace of home, and quality work. Totally worth it. 10/10 would do it again. Unfortunately, we won't be able to, because we just moved to another state. But if we need significant work done in our new house, we will probably pay him for his time to advise us on how to proceed and what to look for with a new contractor. That's how much we trust Brian. He's earned it.

His team remodeled my kitchen two summers. The work done was very professional. I was kept informed of any issues which arose. The price was fair. I’d have Brian back to do other projects should they arise.

Project was well planned and the work was completed on time. There wer a few add-ones during the work, which were negotiated and agreed prior to that additional work being accomplished and everything was done for the pricing agreed in advance.

Brian and his crew did a great job. Showed up on time and on budget. I have used him for many years.

Our relatively small job that was supposed to be completed in 1-2 weeks took 8 weeks by this contractor. Brian very poorly supervises his staff. We had to request that several aspects of the job be redone due to the poor quality for basic things like painting. He advertises that his overhead is worth it in comparison to "unskilled handymen." We had to stay on him the entire time and re-negotiate our contract so that he would complete the job which he started late and began another project before ours was completed.

The garage door walk-thru literally fell apart. Boyd Restoration came in, measured the area, looked at what work would need to be done, and ordered a custom door to replace what had been there. I paid for the door when it was ordered, and paid for the labor on completion. This was my choice, Mr. Boyd did not request payment first. Boyd Restoration does excellent work, the way my father would have done it. It is not sloppy or thrown together. Extra care is taken in the finished project so that the home looks good. I found Brian Boyd to be honest, and has a good reputation and work ethic. I recommend Boyd Restoration for any project you may have around your home or business.
