Founded by Darrick and Beth Anderson in New Vernon, NJ in 1989, Camelot Custom Building grew its roots and relocated to Basking Ridge, NJ in 1992. Incorporated in 1996, Camelot continues to deliver quality individualized construction and service to its clients, as it has for over 30 years. As a premium full service remodeling company, their superior craftsmanship brings each client’s vision to life, being mindful of budget, schedule, client expectation and the environment. Camelot continues to attend seminars, building conventions and trade shows to bring the client the most current materials and install techniques available. Owner / President: Darrick Anderson has been in construction his entire life. Growing up in a family of tradesmen and working odd jobs throughout his childhood, Darrick was immersed in many aspects of the building industry from an early age. Completing NJ Vo-Tec for construction trades, he was later schooled and trained by the United States Marine Corps, earning the Navy Achievement Medal for the construction of Subic Bay School, Philippines in 1987. Darrick brought his knowledge and education stateside and began working as a construction estate manager. He simultaneously earned his building inspector license while building several spec homes for other developers before eventually founding Camelot. Business Manager: Beth Demas-Anderson attended Skidmore College where she earned her degrees in Business and Psychology. She runs Camelot like her family; stressing honesty, education, care and performance. Her employees and subcontractors exemplify the same values and standards and all have long standing relationships with Camelot.
