After a year living in and enjoying my new house renovations (master bathroom, kitchen and basement), now is best time to tell about how we experienced with TRV Design Build team. You will never never know what you might face off when doing renovation regardless of any well- prepared plans. Our project is an example. Delaying materials from vendors made us angry, unacceptable quality cabinets from Adornus ruined our energy, lacking of labor caused us worries and lots of things happened to make us explode. However, if you pick right team, all together you can overcome those. TRV is my right team, they are patient more than enough, expert to any matters and very kindness in doing things. They not only left us with satisfied jobs but also great value. Value of trustworthiness, responsiveness and professional. Value of human relationships and responsibilities. Special thanks to Lino, Heather, Rocco, Brad’s team and anyone who involved in our project. Lino, is an true expert, who educated and provided us best advices for almost our decisions. I reached out to TRV through Houzz in hopes of getting advice (and ultimately a quote) on the best approach to converting our patio area into a mudroom. Within minutes of me submitting my inquiry, I received a call from Lino. He was incredibly kind and personable. His product and industry knowledge became evident immediately. What struck me more than anything was his willingness to not only actively listen to us, but also educate us on best practices, design considerations, and local building code requirements. We set up an onsite, in-person visit through email correspondence, which was extremely convenient. Lino sent pre-meeting documents outlining what to expect during the site visit, and confirmed his meeting leading up to the date. He arrived wearing a mask, which was incredibly considerate, and spent a great deal of time discussing the many facets of the potential build design and construction process, based on our initial discussion. Within 36 hours of his onsite visit, Lino delivered detailed construction and finish material estimates, which was awesome and unexpected. To sum it up, we were blown away by Lino's level of service, responsiveness, and professionalism.

Lino, Josh and their crew did an excellent job, especially considering challenges they had to overcome. The project was demo of an existing covered porch then building a 4 season sunroom, the addition of a new 2.5 car garage, and connecting the two with an enclosed breezeway. The challenges were building during COVID, getting hit with 2 major snow storms, dealing with some unique permitting requirements, a construction site that is up on a hill with difficult access, and coordinating the work with other contractors working on the job. Everything went smoothly and was handled very well. They provided very good suggestions which improved the project, and the end result was great, beyond my initial expectations. They were and continue to be very responses to any questions we have It was a pleasure working with them and I would surely use them again.

2311 South Street Condo Association

Our Center City Philadelphia condominium association hired Carosella Design Build to replace windows and to repair and paint exterior millwork. The project involved staging the work on a very busy street, and coordinating access with multiple owners. Carosella Design Build just completed our powder room makeover along with some other odds and ends projects around our new home and everything looks great. This is our third time using them (used on 2 previous large projects at old house which included re-doing a powder room, a bath room, the family room and a partial re-do of the kitchen). The owner Lino is always very courteous and knowledgeable. The foremen Steve does great carpentry and tile work and is always on time and gets the work done within the proposed time frame.

Carosella Design removed old flooring and installed new wood floors in our house. The quality and work ethic was top notch. Some little miscommunications in the beginning of the process in regards to timeline and what was being done when, but I think that's to be expected with renovation projects. The bottom line is they are reliable and do excellent work. I plan on using them again and would highly recommend them.

Lino managed a complete kitchen renovation for us in 2009. He provided excellent insights in the design regarding both functionality and appearance. He completed the job on time and within budget. In 2015 we noticed one of the cabinets was pulling away from the wall. I called Lino and he quickly came back to assess the situation. He determined that the cabinet itself was faulty. He tried to liaise with the cabinet company (Reico) but they would not stand behind their product even after they admitted there was a design flaw that they had subsequently corrected. Thus, Lino stepped in and came up with a field repair that he put into place. Everything is just fine now. Even though the original job was 6 years ago and the problem had nothing to do with his work Lino fixed everything and did not charge us for his extra time and effort. Lino is a skilled craftsman who stands behind his work.

I have worked with Lino on a number of successful projects, though I should note a recent high-rise renovation for very particular clients, in which Lino and his team rose to the task. A new kitchen and various improvements were made within tight quarters on a high floor, in a Center City condo. Lino's team handled every detail with aplomb, and produced a very high quality product. Scope of work was, in a townhouse in Center City Philadelphia, 1- replace all windows in three floors 2- replace entrance door as well as slider doors to deck and balcony 3- replace stairway side walls (partially) with wooden handrail and balusters 4- replace carpet covering of all stairs with hardwood 5- paint the whole townhouse Carosella Design team was a pro in all stages of the project: from early planning to finishing day. Lino Carosella provided valuable advice for design and choice of components; and he supervised the execution from begin to finish. The work was done within budget and within schedule and with great quality. We are very satisfied with the work.

I found the company because they were working on a kitchen renovation and other improvements to my neighbor's home. The work looked very good and my neighbor recommended them as well. My project involved carpentry, insulation, and minor electrical and plumbing work. I was very happy with the work but more important to me was that Carosella, both the owner and the foreman, were experienced and very knowledgeable. They were also very accessible via phone and e-mail throughout the project.

I have worked with Mr Carosella on several projects. He is an excellent contractor. I have also recommended him to others. Lino conducts business with integrity. This was very important to me because my 1st project with him was approximately 150k. And it was my first multi-unit renovation project. Lino was patient and thorough, as I required a lot of explaining. After project completion, Lino continues to be available to address any issues, fixes, changes and additions. Since the original project Lino has done upgrades and repairs to subsequent properties I have purchased, as well.

Carosella Design installed windows in two of my buildings. The did an excellent job even though one of the buildings proved to be a very difficult installation. They gave me very good advice on deciding which windows to choose, carefully explaining the quality and cost effectiveness of different brands of windows. They also were able to repair some existing windows in the building, a job which many contractors would not want to do. It was a pleasure to work with them because they are very professional. I would definitely hire them again.

Carosella Design recently did structural work for us to prepare our house for a kitchen renovation. The assessment of the work required was spot on. They identified the problems and offered solutions that were both practical and cost effective. Once finished, we reviewed the work done and found it to be completed as promised. Additionally, the space was put back together better than we expected it could be, and it was actually cleaner than when they started the project. Wow! The team was knowledgeable, professional and pleasant. We will be bringing them back for our next project.

When we bought our all original 60 year old house we knew we were going to do a lot of work to it. After interviewing several contractors we hired Lino Carosella to add two two story additions and completely replace the hot water heating with a modern HVAC system including central air conditioning. Lino and his crew did a fantastic job! His creativity allowed our dream home to be realized at a reasonable cost. He was very good at communicating with us and open to discussing any ideas we came up with along the way. The workmanship was/is very good and his design ideas worked out perfectly!

Carosella Design did a complete kitchen overall for us. This included breaking down a wall into the dining room, putting in a beam overhead and structurally shoring up our foundation. Because of the structural issues, this was much more than just a kitchen job. Everyone at Carosella was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. We were absolutely thrilled with the results. Prior to hiring this firm, we spent a good deal of time researching and interviewing other firms. We are so thrilled we chose Carosella. We would highly recommend them.
