We highly, highly recommend Custom Home Improvements, Inc. They completed a kitchen remodel that exceeded our expectations. Shan and Charlotte are perfectionists and professionals. They listened to our ideas, using their expertise to make suggestions or guide us when we needed their professional opinions. They are trustworthy, reliable, experienced, friendly and just do an all around fabulous job. They were on site every day- checking in and speaking with their sub-contractors. They introduced the folks who would be working in our house and all of their crews treated our property carefully and respectfully- from demo to final clean up! Each morning Char would send a text confirming the day's plan and outlining progress. Their communication was excellent. We were so pleased with how wonderful the kitchen looked, that we added a redo of an upstairs bathroom floor and once again, it turned out beautifully. The entire remodel moved along every day with the job being completed a week earlier than expected. It is always stressful to live in a house while work is being done, but Shan and Char made it a painless process with a stunning result. If you are considering a refresh or a total remodel, you should choose Custom Home Improvements, Inc! We certainly plan to use them again for our next projects.

I love this team! Their professionalism, their communication and commitment to customer service and satisfaction are unparalleled. I could not be more grateful for the knowledge they have and advice they provided. This was the third time I’ve had them work on my home. I’ve previously had them redo a bathroom, home office, and tile work in my kitchen. This time they did a complete redo of my other bathroom; painted my dining room and two story living room, stairwell and hallway; installed a new ceiling fan; installed a microwave above my range (allowing for much needed counter space in my rather small kitchen), plus several other small things that really needed to be done to make my house the beautiful home I wanted. They are kind, courteous and no question that I had was too silly for them to answer and give guidance. They were always on time and even worked weekends to get the job completed on time. The skill level and workmanship has me in awe. Shanton and Char (and their crew) are the best. I am so happy with them and their work! I would, or should I say will, definitely hire them again. … there’s a vision of a new deck bubbling up in my head. For comparison I’ve included a before pic of the way too green living room and a before pic of the outdated teal bathroom.

I’d heard so many horror stories about contractors from friends and co-workers that I wasn’t sure what to expect. After contacting several other companies we decided to hire Custom Home Improvements, Inc. to do our master bathroom renovation because we felt very comfortable with them. Shan made everything so easy that all we really had to do was pick our materials, tell them what we wanted and they made it happen. We will most certainly use them on all of our future projects and have already recommended them to our friends in need of a great contractor!!

They took care of everything from the start with the engineers drawings, building permits and even assisted us with our neighborhood association. But after the flooring was installed I decided that my home could use a fresh paint job to go with the beautiful new flooring. They were so accommodating to my last minute addition of more work and were so helpful throughout the entire process. I know who I’ll be calling for all of my future projects!

When my in laws were no longer able to live on their own, we decided to bring them to live with us but we still wanted them to maintain their independence. So we decided to build a small in law suite on our property and finding the right contractor was quite the task but we knew we had a right fit when we met with Custom Home Improvements. They were very knowledgeable and assisted us with everything from the very beginning with the designs and permits all the way through to the finished project. The results are stunning with a full kitchen, aging in place full and half bathrooms and 2 very large bedrooms. We couldn’t be happier with them and the work they do and being able to be close to our loved ones is priceless!

Custom Home Improvements did an excellent job that transformed our house. You can tell from their pictures how they opened up the space between the kitchen and the formal dining area. They meticulously matched our custom floors and crown molding. They relocated the pantry and made some custom shelves. They secured all the city permits and took all precautions to minimize dust during the demo process. When they were done, they removed all the debris and left everything clean. They are very professional and reasonably priced. They did an excellent job communicating with us throughout the process. We are going back to them for a second job. Highly recommend them for all your remodeling needs!

** Full home renovation (floors, walls / paints, kitchen, bathrooms, concrete, fence, etc.) Shan and Char are incredible!! They worked with me every step of the way - extremely patient. They took their time to learn what I liked and would start making great recommendations based on those. Feels like a general contractor / interior designer combo. As a first time home buyer, this eased my anxiety, being able to bounce ideas off of professionals. When I first began my process, I went with a larger firm, met with the project manager, but their estimator never got back to me with a quote. Zero communication despite multiple follow ups. When they finally did get back to me after 20 days, the quote was for 2 out of 20+ things I wanted to do. By then, I have already moved on with Shan and Char. In this day and age of working from home and everyone doing home renovation, great general contractor are in short supply especially the ones that are responsive and are on top of things. Their attention to detail and always trying to help made my life easier and this process much more smooth than I expected. Would recommend to anyone! Deeply appreciative!

We were devastated when the pipes burst in our home earlier this year. Fortunately for us, Custom Home Improvements was doing a project for our next door neighbor. They came right over, got us a bid quickly and got to work right away- even while working on our neighbors house. We had them do some wall openings and master bath renovations, as well. Our home is better than it was before and we couldn't be happier!!

They were so helpful with everything even assisting me with the insurance company to get my fair claim. Once they got started on the work they moved quickly and got my home put back together better than it had been before the freeze. I hired Custom Home Improvements for a room addition after they came highly recommended by one of my neighbors. They took care of everything from start to finish including getting the architectural drawings, permits and even the HOA approval. There was a slight delay because of the weather and some of the materials weren't available but i was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and relatively smoothly the project came along. They were very transparent and communicated with me several times a day and made sure that I was informed through every step of the progress. The end product exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them to any one looking for top quality work, attention to detail and fair prices.
