" We worked with Cesar from ibuild construction for home remodel project. Overall, we were not happy with the experience. As busy technology professionals we were expecting a white glove service for the price of the remodel project which went into the high $xxxK. Quality of service was pretty low in terms of follow up on items repeated daily follow ups with delayed response rates, failure of project management coordination with my wife and our designer, final design details missing like cabinet installation, and layout issues in washer/dryer installation. The final price bill for the service was very surprising for us as first time buyers. It's included a service fee of about 15% fee on top of material + labor. Amount aside the lack of transparency and legal threats on the explanation made the experience very painful. Not to mention my wife was pregnant and numerous times in the journey she broke down with this remodel and wanted me to resolve issues with Cesar. I think he is a high integrity hard working business owner but the price and service are not matching up.

I would highly recommend iBuild. They did our backyard patio job and did an excellent job of demoing the old concrete and laying new tiles. The crew is very professional and the job was done on time. Cesar and his team did extensive remodeling work (e.g. complete new kitchen, hardwood floors, interior/exterior paint), new fixtures, landscaping and sod lawn, and more all in preparation for us selling our Los Altos Hills home. When the Covid-19 lockdowns hit in the middle of this effort, he was flexible and accomplished as much work as could be done practically and safely. He was also open to competitive bids (that I brought in) for some aspects of the work effort. He was also extremely reasonable in pricing change orders that were required once their work began. I would hire him again without hesitation and would highly recommend him to others.

I highly recommend Cesar and iBuild Construction for your next project. He and his team were creative and careful in solving a problem that we faced. We had to replace two laundry machines in our kitchen. They had been what used to be the standard size. But today’s “standard” units are 7 inches deeper, and the space we had available would not accommodate them. We purchased smaller (compact) units, knowing it would leave us with gaps from side to side; plus the new units were lower than countertop height. Cesar built the enclosure you see here. He came up with the solution, gave us an estimate, bought the materials, made changes on the fly to accommodate issues that arose, and created a good looking and practical enclosure and countertop for us. On budget and on time too. Very impressive!

I've hired Cesar twice: Once to enclose a study into a bedroom with drywall and a new doorway, and then to re-build the entire ceiling after it had been severely damaged from a water leak from the apartment above ours. Cesar and his crew did excellent work both times. We appreciate their attention to detail, and the ease of communication with Cesar. They finished the project on-schedule and we would certainly hire them again. We're very happy with the result.

We have a small-odd shaped pantry that needed to be redone. I had contacted another company and they said “it would be a challenge”. They submitted a design, that was not functional at all. I called Cesar at iBuild Construction and he right away offered several suggestions, and never said it would be a challenge. Our pantry was built on time, it’s functional and we love it. Cesar and his team are very nice and very professional. I highly recommend Cesar at iBuild!

Cesar built a two-story addition on our house and it was a wonderful experience. He is knowledgeable, organized, and hands-on. He was constantly at the job site, making sure every part was done correctly and that there were no delays. The project finished on-time and on-budget and we couldn't be happier with the results. He is an honest businessman and we did not have a single issue with billing over the course of the project. The subcontractors he uses are all great guys as well, very skilled and friendly. Cesar takes responsibility for the project personally. At one point this winter, the tarp blew off the addition during a storm and water began to leak through the exposed roof. I called Cesar and less than 30 minutes later he was on my roof, in the dark, in the rain, on a Sunday, at midnight, making sure our house would be okay. Cesar is the real deal!

I've worked with Cesar of iBuild Construction. He did an amazing job as project leader. His team fixed up a cottage (new flooring, cathedral ceiling, kitchen, shower, restroom, extra doors, lighting, electric). We had some initial design ideas but he came up with a lot of new ideas that made the results truly amazing. High quality work and he delivers on his promises. Definitely recommend him for any project.
