We built with Jim in 2014/2015. We have been in our home just over a year now. Jim and Michele were great throughout our building process. They walked us through every step and kept us in the loop of what was going on. If we had a question or concern we could call either person. You could always count on them to answer or call back in a reasonable amount of time. Looking back our process went pretty smoothly- we checked in at the house often (probably too much ) and got to know a lot of the subs. They were excellent. Jim employs/contracts professional, thorough and hardworking crews- every single one of them- framers, mason, sider, finished carpenters (we loved Steve! Can't say enough good things about his crew.) plumbers, electricians, painters, even the businesses that we worked with for our selections: lighting, flooring, bathroom and kitchen design/cabinets, closets, shower glass doors, landscaping- everyone (I hope I didn't forget anyone!) they worked through terrible weather- some worked weekends- I can count on one hand how many days I showed up at the house to find no one worked here that day. There is very little that I would have changed about our experience with Moline builders. I wanted to wait the full year before I wrote a review- so I could comment on the entire experience. As promised, Jim sent his crews back to our house to fulfill the 1 year punch list... You don't get that with a lot of builders. I never doubted Jim as he followed through on all other promises but you never know. So Jim, THANK YOU. thank you for building the home of our dreams where we will raise our family. Thank you for making our building experience a memorable one. Thank you for being an honest builder and following through on all your promises. Thank you! I would say if we were to ever build again you would be our first call- but for your sake, I hope your enjoying retired life by the time we would be ready for that! We will certainly recommend you to everyone we know who is building though! Oh. And thanks to Kevin Warren with the Warren Group for putting us in contact with Jim!

After interviewing potential builders, my husband and I firmly agreed on Moline Builders to build our custom home. We met Jim and instantly felt comfortable working with him. His business experience, solid reputation and title of "Builder of the Year" made it an easy decision for us. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, honest, upfront and easily accessible. Jim quickly handled or answered all of our questions that came up during the building process. In our eyes, Moline Builders has created a masterpiece for our growing family. We love our new home!! I would not hesitate to recommend Moline Builders for a new build or remodeling project. We will certainly contact them when we're ready to finish our basement.

My wife and I selected James Moline to build a 2400 sq ft stand alone villa on the recommendations of friends for whom he has built a large special home . Also his reputation off being builder of the year and best in many other categories was a deciding factor. With our first meeting with Mr Moline we gained a high confidence level in our selection of a builder. Three months after our lot purchase we were ready to build. We were given a very thorough contract listing all allowances, this was accompanied with a list of sub contractors and supply sources. The beginning of the fourth month saw the foundation being laid. We then left for the winter returning six months later to a finished villa. There were no surprises or additional costs He has gathered a very professional group of sub contractors and depends on them to deliver, he has such confidence in their abilities that he wants his customer to work directly with the subcontractors.

Jim Moline built our new home, and we couldn't be happier. It has been a great experience from start to finish. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He is easy to work with and easily accessible. There is no project manager that you have to go through to get issues resolved. Jim is also very fair and doesn't try to take advantage of the homeowner. As far as quality goes, Jim's workmanship is superb. He demands the best from his employees, and stands behind his work. He takes pride in his work and the product he builds. He carefully selects the materials he uses to build a home based on quality and not on convenience. He is cost conscious, but not at the expense of quality. If we had to do it again, there is no doubt that we would use Jim Moline. I have absolutely nothing negative to say, only good things.

We are extremely pleased with the workmanship in our new home built by James Moline Builders. Jim surrounds himself with excellent sub-contractors who communicate and work well together. We stayed very active in the building process, from engineering to the finishes. When we had questions and concerns - we would talk with Jim; and get immediate resolution. This equals a good experience when building a new home! But most importantly, when building a new home, is having a trusting relationship with your builder. Jim Moline is a very fair and honest man. We never had to worry about something being "covered up" everything was always a high quality product and workmanship! Moline does not cut corners! We are very happy with our new home!
