The team tore up layers of old kitchen flooring for us, then laid down new tile, created smooth and beautiful transitions into adjoining rooms, installed a new back door, and much more. It was a relief to find a down-to-earth contractor like Jon to work with us through the process. We are really excited to keep working together in the future!

Jon has done a variety of projects/renovations for me from beautiful built in shelves & drawers, to a rebuilt waterproof tile floor in an arched Queen Anne balcony, to complete gut renovations of multiple rental apartments including plumbing & electrical. He is always a pleasure to work with: professional, skilled, patient & has a great aesthetic vision which many contractors do not. He is also just generally a really nice guy, I recommend him all the time!

From start to finish, Jon was great at communicating each phase of our project and exceeded our expectations in renovating an apartment in our 1836 home. Jon has a great knowledge of historic homes, carpentry & design. They transformed our dark and dingy apartment into a bright, beautiful, & cozy home. We worked with Jon soon after New York opened up from Covid. Jon was very compliant with safety precautions. On top of that he was very meticulous in setup and cleanup. Jon is extremely talented and creative and worked with us the whole way through, even after we wanted to add the in casements in the middle of the wainscoting project. He took our ideas and improved upon them after spending multiple planning visits to make us comfortable and happy with our choices. Reasonably priced for the amount of detail and precise work and excitement that he puts into his craft. We highly recommend using his company, because we plan o using him again.

Finding and hiring the right contractor can be difficult and stressful. Jon made the process a breeze, and we are so happy with the work he did. We hired Jon to construct built ins, close up walls following HVAC installation, and install an antique saloon door. We needed the work completed on a very tight timeline and Jon made the effort to fit us in, and complete the work on schedule, despite being extremely busy. He responded to our initial inquiry quickly, and was prompt, clean and professional during the project. The built ins are beautiful and we get so many compliments on them. We recommend Jon to anyone looking for a contractor, and we will definitely hire him again for any future projects.

I couldn't be happier with Jon and his team's work restoring our 1850s Carpenter Gothic at Sparrow House NY. From the original design he provided, to his impeccable communication, customer service and attention-to-detail, I can't think of another contractor I'd rather work with. Restoring an older home, I was impressed with his knowledge, skill and creativity in approaching the challenges and quirks an older house presents. He was able to match the house's original charm in a way that far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend and look forward to working with him again on future projects!
