New Leaf Renovations

If you live in Bergen County this guy is the best contractor ever. I am not a family member, not a friend, this guy is a good old fashion American artisan. He is ethical, hard working, on time, informed, trustworthy. Amazing: every idea I could think of wanting John could put into effect. Also to be honest as a female I was desperate to find someone I could trust and find someone who did not treat me or my ideas like "a dumb female". John is simply beyond excellent. I have personally yelled at him for not updating this page with his amazing work (lol). Not just updating with the work he did for me but the amazing work he has done on many other places this year and recently but which are not placed on his site: The date for my posted pics here are at houzz are October 2017. I hope that the link that I have provided pointing to my many before and after pictures will work. I wish I had a good camera and could take even better pictures. I will post updates as soon as he is done building my bookshelves and repainting my kitchen. Trust me these pictures don’t do his work justice. He turned my eye-sore of a condo into a beautiful warm home. I wish you could truly see the work in the bathroom with proper photography. John and his company have been utterly amazing. Both my partner and I hired him to redo a complete gut interior renovation of a 1920's home. He kept the charm of the house, while bringing it to 2015. He was amazing not only in his communication (always available), but helping to keep us on budget, on time, and extreme quality in all his work. He's done everything from door installation, to electric, plumbing, kitchen, bathrooms, additions, etc. We loved him so much that we hired him to do a complete renovation on the exterior as well. Could not be happier!

John Cantarelli and his New Leaf Renovations crew exceeded our expectations. We found New Leaf on houzz.com and hired them to completely remodel an original bathroom in our 1989-built condo in Edgewater, NJ. From the initial estimate to the final payment, John handled everything with professionalism and courtesy. The team completed the total gut job on time and on (tight!) budget and kept us well informed throughout the process. We would highly recommend John Cantarelli and we're looking forward to asking him back to remodel our kitchen!

I hired John to renovate our 56 sq. ft. kitchen in Manhattan - you can see photos of it here on his page. It took a while to get all the paperwork in line for the coop, since they have very strict regulations, but John worked around the clock to get it all in on time and start working, since we were moving in shortly. I had designed the layout and selected all cabinets and appliances. John was great at executing it according to the plan, giving me advice, and guidance to make sure we get the most optimal use out of the small space, as well as proposing quick and effective solutions for all the inevitable issues we had putting it all together. He had great suggestions when it came to getting the best products without spending a fortune. The project was completed on time and everyone is admiring our new kitchen!

We had a complete bathroom renovation. We looked at many contractors and new leaf renovations was perfect for us. John is a trustworthy person. He took time to see each detail was covered. We used large tiles throughout the entire bathroom. The tile work is beautiful and we are extremely pleased with our new bathroom. We have all children in our family and he was senitive to her sleeping and all around needs. John has a great attitude and went above and beyond in every way. The estimate was reasonable and the work was outstanding.

We hired John Cantarelli of Newleaf who repaired a ceiling and wall which got damaged from a leak on our second floor. From beginning to end, John was professional, considerate, and very easy to work with. My wife and I remarked after the work was finished that not only was the finished product excellent, but It was a pleasure doing business with him. The price was reasonable too. We would recommend John and Newleaf to anyone who wants to hire a real professional who does amazing work at reasonable prices!

John has done a complete porch, a complete bathroom and renovation of my home. The renovation consisted of new sheet rock in several rooms, new ceilings, replacement windows and hardwood floors throughout the house. John is honest, very consistent and very helpful with ideas. My next project is a new kitchen and John is my man.

I hired this company to put in a wood floor in my house, we consulted on the project in details he offered great ideas, he was very professional and knowledgeable and precise. I hired the company they were ontime everyday polite, and clean i had no dust they cleaned up after themselve's and, my floor came out Beautiful! I Highly recommend New Leaf Renovations.

Our home sustained water damage due to a faulty pipe that our neighbor had, and I hired New Leaf Renovations to do our repairs, which included replacing insulation, sheetrock, paint, spackle, etc. Not only was I happy with the work that New Leaf had done, but when they finished work for the day they left the area they were working in clean, so that there was no visible sign that they were even there (aside from the on going repairs). I highly reccomend New Leaf for any work that you need done.

I had New Leaf Renovations put in a new front porch.. The porch looks great. I was very satisfied with the workmanship. The contractor was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Later I had New Leaf return to remodel an apartment. It was very easy to work with the contractor. He understood my budget and what I wanted. He answered all my questions, gave advice. I was very satisfied when the apartment was completed. I am planning to have New Leaf return for future renovations.

This company renovated our kitchen. We bought the major supplies: flooring, cabinets, sliding door, and sink/faucet. They installed it all. They were professional, neat, and timely in their work.
