About Us

Started construction in 1969 and built our first log home in 1979. We have built log homes in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, and Iowa. River Valley was named after the beautiful Mississippi river valley along the western border of Wisconsin. We have built small hunting cabins and multi-million dollar log homes and everything in between. We are capable of doing total turn key projects, or just offering the logs for the owner to build. We consider ourselves one of the most experienced log home builders in the Midwest, with over twenty five years in the business. We build log homes using Cedar, Fir, and Western White Pine, frequently called Lodge Pole Pine. River Valley will work with and purchase log packages from any log home manufacturer and/or supplier. We also buy standing timber, cut and debark the trees, and build full scribe log homes. These unique skills set us apart from other log home builders. We would also like to help you keep your log home looking its best, by restoring and/or preserving it. We also build conventional timber frame homes and do remodeling of any sort on all types of homes. After you have looked over our website and feel that we can help you build your home. We invite you to call or e-mail us. Thank you for considering River Valley Contractors LLC.
