I have used Sewell Shutters for years. The workmanship is fabulous. The installers the most professional. They perfectly matched my trim colors. They listen well and try very hard to accommodate the customer. We simply would not use anyone else!

I am so happy I chose Sewell shutters. My shutters are beautiful. Sewell was my third estimate. I wasn’t even going to meet with them because I was happy with the second guy...but I thought, I already have the appointment, so what the heck. Well, I was blown away by the professionalism and knowledge displayed by the Sewell representatives. I especially liked the demonstration of how the wood shutters are put together and how Sewell differs from the cheaper-made shutters on the market. Sewell beat my second guy estimate by $700, so I placed a deposit. The next week, the measurement guy came out, and I was even more pleased. He helped me choose the perfect arrangement for my windows and helped me see that some of my window plans may not be feasible for certain types of windows. For example, I wanted double hung shutters on 3 of my windows, and these have drawbacks. The man took a sample of my home’s paint to match so that the shutters matched my trim exactly. The hanging went smoothly and was right on time. It took a little over one month from the time of the first visit. The shutters are absolutely beautiful.

Purchased plantation shutters for our front windows and two large windows in our dining area. Love the way they look! Enjoyed working with all the individuals involved in the estimates, design and installation. Reasonable timelines and cost.

Sewell Plantation Shutters just installed our shutters throughout our home. EVERYONE we dealt with was a joy to work with from first contact to last contact. We could not have asked for anything more in experience, professionalism, or quality. We had one hiccup with one window not being measured for nor ordered but I take some responsibility for that because I was chatting with the young man that measured and I think the thought he measured one window and he over looked it. BUT they gave us a discount on the window that was left out and promised to have it installed within 2 weeks, which is AWESOME! Definitely would hire them again! LOVE LOVE LOVE our shutters!

We had Sewell Shutters come out and measure and place shutters throughout our whole condo in Rockwall, Tx. The job was flawless and the shutters were beautiful. We have since sold that condo and everyone that was showed it commented on the shutters. Even our realtor wanted the name of who made them. Not only did they help with the heating and cooling of a condo on the lake, but they were absolutely gorgeous. The construction was to perfection. The Plantation Shutter was great!. I purchased shutters and blinds for the entire house. They helped me thru each step of the process. For pricing, they even let me use their pricing template to 'play' with various configurations before I decided on what I needed. The measurement guy was extremely detailed and we discussed each odd window for a solution. The end products were installed very professionally. All in all, a great experience. I will definitely use them if I ever need shutters again.

How often do you have a PERFECT experience with someone providing services for your home? Not to often nowadays, hey, people are human. We all make mistakes. Problems arise and not everything goes 100% smoothly. However, not just one but my TWO experiences both most recently and two years ago with Sewell Shutters were literally PERFECT both times from A to Z, top to bottom. This company is a class act and although expensive I would use them again in a heartbeat.
