Stella construction did a great job on a number of projects for our new home including a light kitchen reno, new flooring, bathroom refreshes, etc. Communication was easy and fast. They often worked with our timelines and were able to get teams over quickly. All of the subs were professional, prompt, and did a great job of cleaning up. Would work with the Stella team again.

I had Stella team turn my small ranch into a two story house in Winchester. This was a major project that went on for six and a half months in the middle of the pandemic and it included: demo existing structure down to joists, build new 9ft ceiling walls, add a second story, new roof, two new decks, three new bathrooms, new windows, new flooring, new kitchen, new HVAC new EVERYTHING! To begin the search for the right company, I interviewed about 10 different contractors and at the end selected Stella, which was absolutely the right choice. From the very beginning of this process, I started working with Erik who is a very easy to deal with person, very professional, prompt and responsive. These qualities stood out to me from all the other contractors I spoke with regarding the project. Erik met with me several times (often at 7AM at a local Starbucks) to understand my needs, go over the plans, expectations etc. He gave me a very competitive estimate that included itemized cost breakdown. At the very beginning, he told me he would develop a full schedule for the project that included a to do list for the owner with due dates and told me about the app they use to provide progress updates, estimates for change orders etc. I couldn't believe it, honestly! NONE of the contractors had anything like this. This level of organization on Stella's part speaks volumes about how they go about executing projects. When we finally signed the agreement, Erik did exactly what he said he would do first - develop a detailed schedule and estimated the project would take six and a half months. They finished the house in exactly that amount of time and during pandemic - unbelievable! Take a look at the attached pictures to get a sense of quality of their work. We are beyond happy with the house! I'd also like to note that Erik was so professional and so fair when it came down to resolving issues that popped-up during construction. For example, when we discovered termite damaged beam that we didn't know about when we started construction and that had to be replaced. During construction, I worked closely with Joe, one of Erik's business partners who was directly involved in day-to-day on-site activities. Joe is an awesome guy and super knowledgeable. So easy to talk to with a mindset of doing things right, which I appreciated very much. As the project went on, I also got to work with Stella's sub-contractors like Jay who owns Jason Olivar Electric, or Vien owner of Fort Hill Plumbing. These are outstanding people that I now have for any electric or pluming needs. I wouldn't go anywhere else and would also highly recommend them as well. All in all, we had a great experience with Stella and I would highly recommend them! Thank you Erik, Joe and the rest of the team one more time.

We recently had a full bathroom remodel by Stella Construction this past June and we absolutely love the finished product and overall had an excellent experience working with Erik and his team. The project was completed in a timely manner and no short cuts were taken, as with any project unexpected issues arose and Erik and his team including Tim, Jeff, Joe, and Vien were able to work quickly with us in resolving the issues. I called many places to get my deck project underway for the summer and most of them didn't call me back or told me my project wasn't "big" enough. Erik was extremely responsive from the initial call all the way to the end. He is very friendly and relaxed. His workers were courteous and on time each day and never left the worksite a mess. A couple of mistakes were made that could've been avoided with better communication but Erik was quick to make them right. I would recommend Stella construction and would use them again for future projects. We love our deck!

I worked with Erik at Stella Construction on a bathroom addition in my basement. Erik is knowledgeable, easy going and a pleasure to work with. He came by my house to look at the space and worked with me on getting a bathroom design that worked and gave some very sound advises on how to proceed with the project while staying within the budget my wife and I had. After about two weeks of going over different ideas, we had a contract signed. My wife and I were expecting a child at the time and asked if he could help moving up the timeline, he agreed to help and got the permit process going the day after the contract was signed. Construction started a few days later. The project took a little under two months. Erik and his team did solid work and cleaned up every evening before leaving the basement. He was super responsive, replies within minutes to email, text, or calls, and addresses any concerns or changes that my wife and I had promptly. I would definitely work with him again and would recommend him to my family and friends for any future renovations.

Stella turned an existing upstairs bed room into a bathroom. Work was done well overall, and it was a pleasure working with Erik. I especially appreciate his ability to reply to e-mails and texts within minutes, something that most other contractors I vetted for the job couldn't manage in days, or in some cases, not a all. Stella was very helpful in the planning process, and managed all the permitting/inspection work with ease. I would definitely recommend them.

Stella Construction is a first-rate company - reliable and professional, with high standards and great attention to detail. They have managed a variety of projects around my property - each done beautifully - including building a custom closet with beautiful finished carpentry; adding an eat-in bar in the kitchen; removing a window and replacing it with a custom built-in cabinet; restaining a deck; and smaller projects like cleaning the rain gutters and removing snow. They have surpassed my expectations, and have delivered high quality work every time. They are very nice to work with, and keep a clean environment as they work. I recommend them for projects large and small.

I was very pleased with Erik and his crew in providing to me what he promised. He was professional, knowledgeable and personable to do business with. He researched the materials needed for my deck on my log home which needed different materials than your average deck...to provide me with the quality I wanted. Stella was hired to do some roof repair and fix my crumbling steps. The crew showed up on time, and got right to work. I immediately felt at ease with their friendly and knowledgeable crew. They rebuilt a rotted deck and we were so pleased with the work that we had them repair some rot in other external parts of the house and strip and replace roof shingles. They do great work and are the most pleasant people to deal with imaginable. When they start on something, they stay with it until finished, even working on the roof in cold, windy weather. They uncovered some additional problems, demonstrated them to us, and repaired those at low additional cost. They are concerned to do the best work at the best price. I recommend them highly, and they do a wide variety of jobs.
