“We worked with Garden Gate on two major yard renovation projects, in summer 2008 and fall 2010. From concept to completion, the entire team and experience, led by designer Cathy Carr, was first rate. I would describe us as "involved" clients and our input and feedback was welcomed throughout--including thoughtful understanding of parts of the project we wished to plant ourselves. The 2010 project involved many moving parts, including removal of existing concrete/asphalt driveway, stormwater flooding mitigation, installation of flagstone patio, water feature, stone steps and driveway pavers, as well as plant installation. When the following spring thaw revealed water seepage issues, they returned without hesitation to reroute drainage and solve the problem. The projects have transformed our outdoor living space and bring us great joy as we spend lots of time outside with family and friends.”

“We are thrilled with our landscaping as designed and provided by Eden Design Group. We also like their workers whom we see season after season and are accommodating, pleasant and professional. We especially like the compliments about our landscaping we receive from friends and visitors. We also use them in an annual retainer as they provide all seasonal work. We just have to look at our yards and do not a thing ourselves.”

“We worked with Aaron Raines with Live Green Landscapes to build a 50' long dry stack bluestone wall with evergreen plantings to screen our house from our neighbor's driveway. After receiving multiple bids, Live Green was not the lowest (never go with the low bid) but was middle of the road. They did a phenomenal job with the construction as well as sending updated construction photos as they were completing the work while we were on vacation. The plantings they provided have flourished and we have received numerous compliments on the quality and appearance of the overall product. Aaron has always made himself accessible if we have questions and we would definitely highly recommend Live Green Landscaping to others.”

He is a pleasure to work with, and always is helpful with great ideas. He has a vast knowledge about all areas of landscape design and installation. Joe did extensive landscaping at my current residence and my previous residence. “We contacted Pinehurst Landscaping Company about six months ago because we wanted to renovate previous landscaping that had been done after our home was built. Despite hiring a professional landscaping company, the trees and bushes that they planted were either too large or too small for the area. Instead of accentuating our new home, the landscaping interfered with the architecture of the house resulting in diminished curb appeal. You can imagine that it was with some trepidation when looking for another landscaping company. However, we had read prior positive reviews about Pinehurst Landscaping and decided to give them a try. Once we called we were immediately connected to Ted Carter who specializes in residential design. We explained our issues and what we were looking for. We scheduled a time that Ted would come and assess our landscaping. Ted sat down with us after surveying our plantings and pointed out the errors in the trees and other plantings that were chosen. After careful deliberation, Ted came up with a plan that fit our landscaping area. He chose plants and trees based on color, size, texture, and fragrance. Even if we didn’t care for a particular choice he had a backup suggestion. After we finalized our plan, we met him at the nursery where we were able to pick out our trees and shrubs. However, the true test was the end result. Ted and his crew arrived on time and completed the job in the time frame he had cited. We were thrilled with the end result. We received many compliments from our neighbors and guests and recommended Pinehurst without hesitation. The cost was reasonable and the quality of work was superb. “I attended the Timonium Home and Garden Show and was not looking for a landscaper, but came across AMJ's display and sat to relax and fell in love with what they had done. Aaron came over and was explaining how they work and we starting talking about possibilities for my yard. I came back the following day and worked with John to show him pictures of my property. within a week after the show he had 3 proposed drawings for my yard. Within 30 days my yard was transformed into my tiny little paradise in Dundalk. I absolutely love the work they did. They were professional and true to their word. Their team was fantastic and was respectful to my neighbors and cleaned up as if they were never there. I would highly recommend them for any job big or small. You will not be disappointed with the work from AMJ and will think of them every time you enjoy a relaxing evening outside looking at the finished project. Thank you John and Aaron for saving my yard and making it our new piece of heaven.”
