We’ve been living in the house they built for a year and should’ve got a home inspection before we closed and throughout while building. For starters the caulking for the black splash is horrendous. Failed to to cut the tip at 45 degrees to fill in crevice and looks like utter crap. By the way there’s a key stuck in the backsplash. Didn’t even apply primer or added a second coat of painting. They failed to even put the damn door knob to the master bed room. The flooring in downstairs already pilling up and you see the lips and feel it as the Vinyl planks isn’t flush, the seam is noticeable. They failed to regrade the backyard as stated. Upon the issues calls were ignored, while contractors didn’t comeback after reaching out. Failed to fill the crevice around bathtub and floor with silicone caulk Now our ceiling has leaked with water from the second bathroom upstairs. Outlets are loose, cracks in drywalls ( around multiple closet doors, daughter door doesn’t closed completely and doesn’t lock. Dishwasher wasn’t installed correctly. Didn’t even put any wood sealant or stain the deck. You can feel the the thumb tacks strips on the stairs through the carpet on certain steps. In master bedroom they left something underneath the carpet. The maulding through the house doesn’t have flush seam. Should have used a thicker back door for upstairs or thicker drywall for the ceiling, hell through the house. Overall get a house inspection no matter what especially with these builders now a days.That’s just some of the things but as time go back we will discover more.
