DO NOT TRUST GALLAGHER CONSTRUCTION!! We contracted Gallagher for a siding and deck replacement project, and I really wish that I had researched better before hiring. It has been over a year since we first signed the contract, and they have still not completed a very reasonable list of action items. After paying our deposit in May of 2017, they had promised to begin the project by July 4. After weeks of us calling and e-mailing, they finally began the project at the end of August. For the next 6 plus weeks, the contractor showed up a few hours here and there. They waited for materials, half completed different stages, and stumbled their way through. During that time, they frequently badmouthed the ownership group, and told us it was very typical that project dragged on for months with them. They even replaced Project Managers in the middle of the project after we made numerous requests for better communication. The new Project Manager called the old one inept! Virtually every day, we had to clean up after the mess that was left by the work crew. We have now waited over 6 months for them to resolve the remaining action items, and they have repeatedly lied to us, and blown off scheduled appointments. We have now hired a reputable contractor to complete our project. The pictures do not even do justice to the poor quality of their work. Just over all shoddy quality DO NOT TRUST GALLAGHER CONSTRUCTION. They will not communicate with you, and will not complete your project. Read the poor reviews and pass on this company
