Jeff Dworkin takes great pride in his custom homes. He was very attentive to the deadlines and projected timeline, which can be rare in the custom home building business. We were able to choose our finish out, add on a few extras, and still meet our deadline. We love the GREEN certification of our home and would never consider a home without in the future--it is a great money saver and means that our home is built with great insulation and soundproofing. We loved that Jeff was mindful of this growing desire from consumers. Jeff does have strong opinions, but is respectful and attentive to his client's views. He continues to go above and beyond for us when we seek him out for advice or opinions regarding our home. There are a few "builder grade" items in our home that have not lived up to my expectations such as door knobs and towel racks, cosmetic things of that nature. Structurally, our home is fantastic with a "no wasted space" layout that "lives larger than the square footage" according my realtor, which is perfect for our young family.

Great attention to detail. Responsive to our observations and concerns during construction. Adapted well to our customizations and adjustments. On time delivery in spite of a snowy wet winter. Jeff built us a high quality home that even 3+ years later is still our favorite and is often photographed by drive-by house hunters.

When we first considering building a home, the idea seemed a little daunting, particularly since we didn't have a lot, a floor plan, or a builder. Once we met with Jeff Dworkin of JLD Custom Homes, picking him as our builder was easy. We appreciated his approach to building homes that fit within the neighborhood, as well how engaged he was in the entire process of building JLD homes - he wasn't a salesman, he was a home builder. After discussing our objectives, Jeff found us a great lot in the Lakewood Hills neighborhood and worked with us to customize a floor plan to meet our needs. Jeff provided a great deal of guidance and some great ideas throughout the process, and allowed us to benefit from his experience. This enabled us to feel confident in every final decision throughout the planning process. When it came time to break ground, Jeff was in constant contact with us to let us know how each step was progressing, and what would happen next. In the end, we could not be happier with our JLD Custom Home, and we look forward to enjoying it for many years to come.

I have known and worked with Jeff for many years. As an Architect I am very impressed by Jeff's attention to detail and knowledge of construction. We have now been in our JLD home for over 4 months and couldn't be happier. Working with Jeff was truly a pleasure and we are more than satisfied with our new home. We were in the process of trying to sell our old home when we first began working with Jeff, and he was patient and flexible in working with us until we could get our home sold. Jeff was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had, which was very helpful since this was the first home we had built from the bottom up. I will also say that we were very impressed with his ability to finish the project on time. I have heard nightmares about new home builds going way over schedule, but Jeff finished our home on schedule. He builds a solid home, and I would not hesitate in working with him again. I also would like to compliment Tyler, who was onsite during the construction phase of our new home. Tyler was also very responsive and helpful in answering any questions that we had.
