I have lived in two houses that Craig built, including one that he did for me and my family out in Tumalo. Both homes were fantastically built .His attention to detail, ability to think creatively during the build process and an ongoing relationship that exists long after the build is complete is something that you will not fid in any other builder. When we decided to build, we got together with Craig and the architect to ensure that all elements of the project would work together to create a living space for our family. The collaboration with Craig resulted in a far better design than either ourselves or the architect could have envisioned when we first got started. I cannot recommend Craig and his team enough. If you want to build a home, I strongly suggest that you work with him. I will also note that Craig met budget, timeline and quality expectations at a level that far exceeded my expectations. I would gladly build another house or three with Craig and his team.

We have worked with Johannesen Builders, Inc. on two large projects and look forward to future projects with Craig Johannesen and Jennifer Davidson. They are not only stellar individuals with integrity, but they go above and beyond to ensure the end result will be the highest quality work. They not only put tremendous effort in themselves, but they select excellent subcontractors that follow their lead on quality work, punctuality and being respectful of the home and the family that lives there. Not only are they knowledgeable and hard-working, they are delightful to be around. They are calm, careful and methodical. On more than one occasion, they have noticed details that they believe can be even better and they will take the time to immediately tackle the item and have proven time and time again, that they are honest and trustworthy. Craig and his team took our home construction from initial concept to move-in readiness. Our architectural plans were very basic, and Craig and team finished the plumbing, electrical, cabinet and other designs in consultation with us. They then managed the complete construction project. Craig and team were excellent project managers, and have build enough homes that they know which little details work and which ones don't. They came in very close to schedule and cost, and we are extremely happy with the results.

Craig Johansson did a complete kitchen and bath remodel on our home at Aspen Lakes. He is a true craftsman and perfectionist. Craig is ethical and honest. We would not hesitate to use Johansson Builders again in the future. Gary & Barbara DeLorenzo

We selected Johannesen Builders almost a year ago to build our new custom home. This is our first experience of building a home and it has been almost stress-free. From day one, Craig and Jennifer (the contractor team) met with our design team and they have worked together, learning from each other and working closely to build our unique home within budget. Craig and Jennifer monitor our budget closely each month, and are always seeking ways to improve the quality of our project while reducing costs. They have suggested many additions that will increase our home's value while staying within budget. The quality of subcontractors has been impressive, and there have been very few days where there is no activity on site. Craig and Jennifer are very responsive to our concerns and work quickly to address any issues that arise. Our home is on schedule and due to be completed in about 2 months. We would definitely hire Johannesen Builders in the future, and highly recommend them to others.

Craig hired us to build a complicated solid curved wood stair and railing package for a new home. Craig knew what was required and was specific making our job in crafting the stairs and railings easier and resulted in a better final product for the home. Johannesen Builders has the deep knowledge in the building industry which is critical in creating a home for years to come. Craig was creative and willing to imagine lots of options before settling on the perfect stair design for the build.
