Paul is the best! The attention and guidance he provided to us for our kitchen remodel was unlike any other contractor we have dealt with in the past. He is thorough, communicative, honest and trustworthy. Our project finished on time and on budget. Furthermore his sub contractors were punctual, clean and courteous. He went above and beyond given we had a new baby and a toddler. He made sure the work was contained and site was always clean. We will always go to Racepoint for future work.

From the moment we met Paul, from Race Point Inc., we knew we had found our contractor. He was very communicative, organized, and most of all HONEST. Every day we knew exactly what was happening with the construction of our home. All his sub-contractors were expierenced, friendly, and very hard working. I was most amazed, that after the days work was done, everything was swept down and cleaned up spotless. Every two weeks we were given a complete breakdown of the cost and what was due at that time. Nothing was hidden. If we went over budget, it was outlined. If we had a credit it was outlined. Our project is now done, on budget and on time. I'm in love with our home. I can't say enough about Paul and his crew. He will always be a part of our life.

The remodel on our bathroom was done to perfection! We were greatly impressed by the quality of the work, the consideration of our time (workers always showed up as scheduled/the job was completed without delay), and our budget. Also, we were greatly appreciative of the honestly and guidance as to which products to use, where they should be placed based on the size and configuration of the room, and how they should be maintained. Incredibly satisfied and highly recommend to others!!

First, I am someone who is extremely particular, focused on details, and, in general, mistrusting, especially regarding people who work in the contracting industry. I very carefully researched general contractors before hiring one, paying particular attention to references including meeting the persons who supplied them as well as seeing the work done. I cannot imagine a significantly better experience than I had with Racepoint. It was not perfect, but perfection is not achievable in this endeavor. Racepoint conducts its business with honesty, fairness, professionalism and is extremely responsive, including addressing any problems (ours were few in number and rather minor) AFTER the project is complete. We demolished an old house and built from the ground up with Racepoint, so it was not a small project. I recommend them without hesitancy and would happily give in person references to anyone interested. (Contact me through Paul Kinney, the principle).

We hired Race Point for a major rehabilitation of a home originally built in 1908 (see Pasadena Home photos). We interviewed many contractors, but appreciated Paul's responsiveness, honesty, and sense of urgency. Like any major project there were hiccups along the way, but Paul addressed them promptly and properly. The quality of the work of their sub-contractors was very good--and when they didn't meet Race Point's and/or our very high standards, the work was done over without charge. Paul was on-site nearly full-time, and was always available by phone to answer any questions or address issues as-needed. Post-completion Paul was terrific with follow-up, both addressing punch-list items as well as occasionally checking in proactively to ensure that everything was working as expected. This was the second home we have built, and we would hire Race Point again.

Our firm worked with Race Point a few years ago on a 11,000sf custom home and we found them to be professional, detailed, and great to work with. They completed the job on budget and ahead of schedule.

RACE POINT has built 4 homes for me and I cannot rave more highly about their work and their ethics! The projects ranged from a ground up 10,000sf new construction residence, to a major remodel and addition on a 5,000sf luxury rental property. Because of their knowledge and experience (AND HONESTY), their pricing and bids are accurate and extras are kept to an absolute minimum. I've worked with a lot of contractors over many years, and once I found Race Point, I never needed to look again. Honesty and integrity and key factors in the way they do business and work with clients. Building is never easy, but it's easier using Race Point!!!!
