J and Christine are the best. They listen to your ideas and give their opinion. J also suggests ideas that he has for the project but is not offended if you don't agree. Everything goes according to time frame. The subs they use are polite, friendly and on time. They also clean up after themselves. So far J and the guys have remodeled a business, addition to our house, refaced the kitchen cabinets and remodeled two bathrooms. We love Terravest!

I've moved several times and have done several remodels. J and Christine are by far and away the BEST contractors I have ever worked with. I met them while trying to get bids for a kitchen, laundry, and main suite bathroom project that was turning out to be considerably out of budget. J and Christine stood out from the other bidders: They clearly had unparalleled knowledge about construction of homes, and worked with me closely to get what we wanted out of a remodel within our budget. Christine patiently redrew plans for the kitchen and laundry at least a half dozen times, working through every small detail before we arrived at our final win. All of this was done before we committed to any final agreement. Terravest takes the time to bring subcontractors in to give prices up front. They also work to nail down finishes early in the process to make sure materials arrive on time. To be transparent, I found this a little frustrating at the time, but in the end we were incredibly grateful Terravest works this way. We only went over budget by 5%, and that increase was due to add-ons I asked for after the project began. J and Christine handed us a calendar noting what work was being done daily before the start of construction. There was a subcontractor here every work day of the week during the full 5 months of work (we ended up remodeling the entire 1st floor). The project not only ran on time, it was completed a week early! I have never worked with a contractor that delivers a project remotely on time before. MY HOUSE IS BEAUTIFUL. It is beyond what we could ever have dreamed of. The problems we wanted solved with the layout were solved, and within a budget we could handle. The craftsmanship is superb. During the entire remodel, J and Christine were incredibly responsive to concerns, quick to rectify any problems (so that they weren't really problems at all), and were a pleasure to work with. The subcontractors were all professional and easy to work with as well. I cannot recommend Terravest Custom Homes enough!

Terravest recently remodeled our bathroom. J and Christine were very helpful in the planning process, offering cogent suggestions and advice. Their entire crew was efficient and professional. The final cost was commensurate with the original bid, and well worth it.

We've had numerous house improvement projects with Terravest. The work has been excellent, usually done ahead of estimated timelines. Any overruns are justified and fully explained (and usually caused by some change that we asked for). Jay is very proactive and keeps us informed of pending issues/delays or an option we might want to consider. Other than work done by TerraVest itself, Jay is always helpful in suggesting specialists to help with other projects. He responds quickly. His crews are very 'user-friendly' and are courteous, thoughtful, hard-working, and all around nice guys. Home improvement contractors are incredibly busy and still face some supply issues, but I can truthfully say that Jay has gone out of his way to help with our projects. They often were not the biggest project, but he treated us as if they just as important as a custom home build. Since we are rural that means a lot as many contractors won't even come make an estimate.

I am thrilled with the stairway renovation Terravest completed for me, it turned out even better than I could have imagined! The whole team was professional and personable, and the work they did was absolutely meticulous. They were quick to respond to all questions and attention was paid to every detail.
