Tony and Dawn are amazing and their eye for design is impeccable...what I was most impressed with was how detailed they were and that they listened to our needs. We wanted a kitchen that looked great but was also functional, and they delivered! My wife and I both work, so it was important to us to know that they were there to handle all the small details and be on site to work with contractors, handymen, etc. No doubt, remodeling a kitchen is stressful but Tony and Dawn were so accommodating and made the project much easier than it would have been otherwise. The final photo shoot was bittersweet -- everything looked amazing but we were a little sad the project was over since working with Tony and Dawn was such a pleasure. “My husband and I worked with Rachel at Seldin Design Studios to decorate our first house. It felt like a pretty overwhelming task as we were starting from scratch and had a lot to do on a tight budget within a short time frame (we were expecting our first little one just 5 months after we moved in!). Rachel made the whole process so much easier and less stressful. She started by walking through the house with us and listening to what we hoped to create in each space. She then presented us with a meticulous portfolio with descriptions, drawings, and examples of everything we needed for each room and a breakdown of the cost. My husband and I have pretty different styles and Rachel did a wonderful job of listening to what was important to each of us. She managed to find pieces that we both like at the right price points, striking a nearly impossible balance of cozy and clean. She also introduced fresh colors and patterns, encouraging us to branch out and try new things. She was fast and efficient and did an amazing job of staying within our budget (unheard of in interior design, apparently!). She was incredibly organized and proactive, always following up with vendors and giving us a heads up if there was a delay or other issue with a product we had ordered. We were very indecisive at times and she worked tirelessly and patiently with us the whole way through. Rachel is clearly passionate about her work and always went above and beyond. We are so very grateful to her for helping us create a lovely home.”
