“I heard about what a fantastic job Heather does for her clients through word of mouth so I decided to hire her for a kitchen remodel. She had creative and unique ideas on how to update the look of the cabinets and flooring and countertops. She designed a whole new schematic that made the kitchen bigger and more user friendly. Heather knew all the right contractors to complete the job. In the end I was left with a beautiful kitchen that didn't cost me a fortune.”

“Jake has been our designer for two extensive remodels on our 1950's ranch style house. We wanted an open concept plan, walk in shower, and an upstairs laundry room. Our tiny original kitchen became a beautiful, updated family living space. This is our forever house and it is exactly what we wanted. Recently Jake designed our basement remodel. Again Jake listened to our ideas and incorporated them into two bedrooms, a bathroom, and downstairs family room. Perfect for visiting guests and grandkids.”

“I first used Directions in Design (DID) in 2003 when I completely gutted and renovated my townhouse in the Philadelphia area. I then used DID again in 2007 when I was relocated to North Carolina. In 2012, I bought a 2nd home on the coast in Florida and I called upon DID for my design needs for the 3rd time. I have been elated with their creativity, the ease of communications, and the fact they managed my projects on time and within budget; hence, I'm confident about employing this firm for a 4th time to redesign the interior of the yacht we just bought to keep behind our home in Florida. I can think of no other company to hire--but DID--to redesign the interior of our yacht. The designers at DID are adept at dealing with the complicated curvatures of a boat and the use of lightweight, marine materials used for durability in the sun, heat and salt environment. I especially enjoy working with Jane Ganz, the President of DID. She eases my mind throughout the demolition and reconstruction process by virtue of her efficient and reliable project management services. As has become usual in my experience with DID, my expectations continue to be exceeded. It is remarkable that it matters not that they are based in St. Louis, whereas I live in North Carolina and Florida now. The people in this company are so responsive and caring about their clients' needs, I look forward to working with them! Once again, I highly recommend this company, regardless of where you reside.”
