Audrey spent her childhood on her family’s estate in Namibia, Africa, and in France. From this early life experiences, she cultivated a multicultural grasp of global design styles. We were very fortunate to find Audrey when we purchased and renovated a home on Siesta Key in Sarasota. She has all of the qualities of a great designer and made achieving our vision a joy. She listens well but never hesitates to offer her opinions which we consistently found provided beautiful and practical results. Also, the contractors and suppliers she works with were superior in every respect. She is prompt, responsive and talented and also fun to work with which is really important when going through a major design project. Audrey Arthur completed a major renovation and design project for us during the spring and summer of 2016. it included moving walls, overhauling two bathrooms, adding a kicka## powder room, planning an addition and reconfiguration of our kitchen space, carpentry in five closets, installing wood floors through half the house, choosing lighting, serving as general contractor, and more. She works with a dependable team of professionals (architect, cabinet maker, lighting and fabric people), and has exceptional taste. She is a delight to work with--charming, patient, organized, and has high standards of the work to be done. Her attention to detail (tile, grout color, fixtures, special features, etc.) makes a big difference in the outcome. People who see our home ask for her name and she would be the first we would call in the future. :-)

When we began the 8-1/2 month remodeling of our home, I was not in favor of hiring someone to help with interior design, but my wife wanted to start fresh with all new decorating throughout the house and felt that she would need help. Fortunately, we were lucky enough to find Audrey Arthur to help us. Audrey listened to what we (rather vaguely) thought we wanted and she began to put together a plan to achieve our desired end. Audrey helped with absolutely every element of home's design: windows and exterior doors, siding and paint colors, kitchen and bathroom designs, hardwood flooring and all electrical and plumbing fixtures. Lastly, Audrey assisted my wife with the selection of all of the new furniture to decorate the remodeled house. At every step during our remodeling process Audrey listened to what my wife and I wanted and then provided us with alternatives methods of achieving what we wanted. Audrey was conscious of timing and budget at all times and she was at our home at least 2-3 times weekly for the entire 8-1/2 months making sure that everything would meet with our satisfaction. Audrey is exceptionally talented and equally hard working. She is someone who can be trusted to make the homeowner proud of the result and pleased with the experience. I would hire Audrey again without hesitation and my wife wants to adopt her. We would be pleased to recommend Audrey for any design assistance.

My husband and I worked with Audrey on a rather extensive project adding a two story wing on to our house and renovating our pool area to include a detached pool house. It was a big undertaking but having Audrey guide us through the decision making process made things so much easier. She has a wonderful sense of style that is classic and timeless and worked well with our project but would be able to accommodate to style as she really pays attention to what her clients request. Her research into all of the items that went into our house was precise and well thought out making things run extremely smoothly saving us time and money. I would highly recommend Audrey for any project whether it is new construction or a remodel and her professionalism is unquestionable.
