I cannot recommend Elena enough!! She was referred to me and once I met her, I liked her right away. I could not imagine re-doing my kitchen without her. I would have made numerous mistakes on my own and she brought things to my attention I had never thought. Many things have to come together to look amazing. And yes, you can do your kitchen on your own, but it just won't look "WOW." I am so happy I trusted her guidance and she was invaluable. She went over and beyond and spent time to make sure everything was right!! She recommended a contractor that she works with often and not only did he start on time, but he finished on time and was a prince of a guy!! As difficult as the process can be, I'm so glad I had her. I wouldn't think of doing it again without her.

Elena is a talented designer, a dedicated professional and a wonderful person to work with. She helped us on our kitchen remodel and to update our fireplace wall, giving us creative suggestions for our project. Elena has excellent taste, modern and sophisticated, exactly what we were looking for. She is very honest in her opinions and was always there to help us, answering our phone calls on a timely manner and being on site to solve problems that would arise during the construction process. Elena of D+Lena design is a very dedicated professional. She has excellent taste, modern and refined, elegant but subtle. She is generous with her advice and she often asked us questions that made us realize there were important details we had not even taken in consideration. She delivered her drawings on time and she has always been prompt in communicating, either by phone, email or text message. We plan to re-hire her for our next project for sure. It gives you peace of mind to have a professional like Elen help you when your house (or a portion of it) is under construction.

Elena was wonderful to work with on our kitchen and powder room remodel. Not only is she knowledgeable about design details, but she is also very professional and gets back to you in a timely manner. I am really thankful for her expertise and attention to detail.

We hired Elena to help renovate our family room and bathroom. From the moment she walked in she was making suggestions on things we could do to update our home. She chose the materials for our floors, designed the entertainment center, and bathroom finishes. She has a lot of out of the box ideas that are still timeless, modern, and sophisticated. She has a great eye for color and can match things together without even seeing them together! She will give you her honest opinion which I always appreciated. She has a great attention to detail. You can tell she has a lot of experience in large renovations as she's knowledgeable in a lot of the construction aspects. The vendors she works with are also top notch. We did have issues with the tile company but she handled it directly with the vendor and ensured I was compensated appropriately. Elena is great to work with. She's a very sweet and kind person on top of all her interior design talent. We will definitely work with her on future projects!

Five stars simply does not do Elena justice. There needs to be a 10 star option minimum for her work! She has gone WAY above and has exceeded ALL expectations for this project. I could not be happier. And she's an absolute blast to work with! Very communicative and easy to get a hold of via email, call or text. Most importantly her style and vision is unlike any other. I could not have envisioned in my wildest dreams how beautiful everything has turned out. She is hands down the best interior designer! You will not be disappointed, but rather blown away by her remarkable work.

I had no idea what to do with my teenaged kids bathroom. I like blue. Modern. Different. Elena came in and made it easy. Her design fit the rest of the house perfectly. The quartz and tile and unique design were all top notch! Elena is professional and attentive. So happy!

After years of living in an outdated, dark and miserable kitchen, our family agreed it was time to invest in a serious update. Fearful about costs, seeing HGTV remodel horror stories, and getting caught up in trendy designs that last as long as a baby chick, we leaned on Elena at D Lena Design to guide us through the process. Elena is professional, experienced, resourceful, creative, and a genuine delight with which to partner. For example, we wanted the largest island possible in our space to include double dishwashers, an upscale seating booth for 8-10 people, and bar area for three stools. We estimated 11 feet was necessary. Elena returned with a design slightly shorter that met codes we didn’t even know existed, and allowed for a single slab length without ugly seams, saving us money, and with all of the required features outlined above. The pictures (not professionally taken) are worth 1000 words! Every morning I start my day feeling refreshed, and happy that we actually got the kitchen of our dreams! Thank you Elena!

We have had the pleasure of working with D+Lena Design on a large scale home remodel. Elena is wonderful to work with and very professional. She presented us with a very detailed planed and came up with very creative solutions for a spaced we were didn't know what to do with. As our project moves along we will continue to work with Elena.

Master Bathroom Remodel: In a word Elena is exceptional. Her design approach and style is creative and fresh. She asks great questions and listens to what you truly want to accomplish. She'll take the input, measure and draw up a plan that you visualize, and that is a smart use of the space-- she saved a lot by not having to relocate major plumbing. Then, she managed the project until it was complete and to our satisfaction. Elena will be the first person we call for our next home project!
