Professional, Meticulous, Amazing!! These are the adjectives we would use to describe Michelle at Design & Decoration Concept. It was to be the first time that we hired a interior designer, and we consider ourselves very fortunate that fate had brought the path of a very capable project manager into our life. Before hiring Michelle, we met with countless other designers who were either too simplistic, vague, expensive, and/or impersonal. Michelle immediately put us at ease, as early as our first meeting! She seemed very capable in absorbing all our stress, and we immediately felt that she would deliver a beautiful home to us. Task at Hand: Gut-Renovation of a 1200sqft, 2 bedroom apartment in Lower Manhattan. Including redesigning floor plan, overseeing total demolition, referring the primary general contractor & architect, working with building management & super, and selection of every permanent fixture. Most importantly, managing all these facets of construction in such a way that we can only describe as "symphony-like." Words cannot express how pleased we were with the results that were delivered. We continue to refer and recommend her services to all our friends and family with the utmost confidence that she would deliver nothing but the most exceptional results. Our confidence in her abilities and expertise allowed us to trust her and her referrals. While ultimately we hired many of the sub-contractors, it was Michelle who placed these capable people on our laps. It's true, many designers have a plethora of people they work with, however, Michelle and her team were very competitively priced, and I was confident that they would do a great job because Michelle would be there to insure it!

After searching several home renovation companies. Design & Decoration Concept provides the best open concept design n price. Michele the designer turns my outdated 2BR and turn into my dream apt. This was a gut job and they finished on time and on budget. She has the vision to think outside the box and understand my needs. Her 3D rendering was excellent and everything came out exactly to her design plan. I would hire Design & Decoration Concept again for my next house/apt.

Being affected by Superstorm Sandy wasn't easy to deal with, however, hiring Michelle Cheung to bail me out was! Michelle and her team were very capable, reliable and professional.
