About Us

Deborah Desir has over 20 years experience in residential and contract interiors from New York, New Jersey, Las Vegas, and Florida. Her portfolio includes high end residences, wedding reception halls, restaurants, banks, hotel lobbies, healthcare facilities, and offices. Although Deborah enjoyed the autonomy of owning her own design firm for 6 years she thrives best in a team setting and joined Ethan Allen in 2011. She prides herself on building & maintaining relationships and providing superior service throughout the project. Each project is a unique collaboration between Deborah and the client balancing creativity, function, budget, and project requirements. Deborah has been fortunate to work with other talented professionals and wonderful clients. She is passionate about creating memorable spaces and classic yet unique designs. Deborah is fluent in French & Haitian creole and speaks Spanish and Portuguese.

D. Desir was exceptional. She answered the chat on the Ethan Allen website. I could not have had a better designer. We worked remote. She sent me pictures, drawings, and prices every time that I had a question. She made the experience positive in every way. Our local stores are understaffed and they have no designer knowledge. Please check Ms. Desir’s degrees. Thank you again. I live in SC and she was in FL but distance was never an issue, she was always there to help.
