Marcene came into my life when I was in the middle of a project that was not going well and for which I was truly grateful. Thanks to her the end result was a success. I then used her for an update to my kitchen. She found excellent workers, helped with design and color and supervised all aspects of the work which was finished in a timely manner and within my budget. She is a true professional.

She is easy to work with. She sized up our situation and gave us excellent options. She transformed our bedroom, giving it a wonderful look with choices of colors and materials we would never have thought of ourselves. We will use her again.

Marci helped me with my office addition and remodeling my kitchen, dining room, and two bathrooms. We did a single room addition and full remodel, removing walls, ripping out cabinets, appliances, and fixtures and reorganizing the spaces. Marci helped me make decisions wisely. She was wonderful to work with and I absolutely love my home! I told her in the beginning that I wanted something that was unique and felt like me. That sounds like a crazy tall order for a designer, but that's exactly what she did. I wanted to be very involved in the design, but I didn't know where to start and struggled to make decisions on my own. Marci directed me and guided me in my design choices. She listened to my ideas, and helped me eliminate the misguided choices and steered me toward the good ones. Her input was invaluable and I am so very grateful to have had her working with me on my project. I have the master bathroom left to do and will definitely be calling Marci again when we're ready to start that project.

Marcene is an incredibly intuitive designer who knows her way around an undertone! Marcene has gently guided me through many different home projects, saving me from my sometimes misguided impulses by directing me in new and inventive ways. She is a problem solver. She is always available to answer questions. Her color sense is exemplary. She quickly understood my aesthetic and always had creative suggestions which expanded and improved upon it. All of this pales in comparison to her kind demeanor and quick wit. She’s just a pleasure to work with. You cannot go wrong in hiring this company and Marcene in particular.

Marcene was without a doubt the most important reason for the success of our home renovation. We love our beautiful home and how it all came together. Her professionalism, knowledge of design, and creativity were so important in the end results. And just as important, her personal relation skills and patience were a blessing both for our marriage during this very stressful and emotional event and for dealing with vendors and contractors. She became the Project Manager taking personal responsibilty and bearing the weight of this project, and was the one person we could always depend on for answers, meeting deadlines, and helping with the budget limitations. The quality of her work is evident in the perfection of the results of this project. We were truly blessed with having Marcene as our Designer and Project Manager. As I said to her frequently, she was a Guardian Angel during the craziness of our major home renovation. I without hesitation, would recommend Marcene to anyone who is planning to renovate their home or business.

This review is long overdue! There are so many wonderful things to say about Marcene that I don’t even know where to begin. I will start with her natural talent, never could I imagine my house would be so beautiful. I have friends tell me all the time that everything about this design is me. Marcene did that! She had a way of pulling “my style” into my house, still don’t know how she did it but she just got me. Color is her strong suit and I think that is my favorite part. She is truly a wonderful person with an upbeat personality which really made the experience fun. Her work is fantastic and can’t recommend her enough!

Exquisite… that’s how I would define Marci Kylander, Everyday Elegance. She has an amazing design sense and such a wonderful way about how she gently directs you through the project and protects you from making mistakes. I can honestly say that she was worth every single penny. I love how she listened to my ideas, incorporated them and when needed, pushed me out of my comfort zone. I can’t imagine my house without her expertise! Thank you so much Marci, you are a special person and I am so happy to know you!

I contacted Marcene through Houzz and she helped me access and purchase the perfect window shades for our renovation project. The scope of our project is ever changing and Marcene has been very patient and flexible while I take the time I need to make decisions and get some preliminary things done; Yet very attentive and responsive when I have questions or need ideas and resources. I intend to continue to use Marcene’s services in this ongoing project as her design ideas and customer service are extraordinary! Thank you Marcene!

We have been working with Access2designs on an entire downstairs remodel-which includes 2 bathrooms, master bedroom, guest room and office. All which have turned out great! Marci is super easy to work with, very professional and has great design ideas! Next she’s helping us with an entire kitchen remodel next!

Marci is wonderful to work with, she does whatever it takes for you to achieve what you are looking for. We did our renovation on our house in Ca. while we were on the east coast, and it was important to me to have someone I could rely on that could work with our contractor and be sure that what we achieved what we had in mind.

When I first starting thinking about all my home needed I became more and more overwhelmed. I started going from room to room and felt like I was accomplishing nothing. Marcene was referred to me and within minutes I felt comfortable and excited I was in the right hands. She understood what I was looking for, my style and what I didn't want. I was in awe of what she put together so quickly for me to choose form and especially her eye and expertise for color. Everyone should have an "Access2Designs" in their life!
