When we made the decision to renovate our 1995, 4300 square foot Coquitlam home, we new it would be a big project. Designer Christine Friend came highly recommended by a close friend and having seen the results of her expertise in their home, we knew she would be the designer to tackle our project. Highlights: Our project was on budget, highly collaborative, involved top notch craftsmen in all trades and turned out just beautifully! We felt confident we were in good hands with Christine - start to finish. We now have a home that suits our lifestyle and changing family needs to a tee; it is modern yet cozy/comfortable and importantly, very functional with high quality, durable cabinetry, flooring, and appliances. We would not hesitate to recommend Christine Friend as she is a true professional and brings with her close connections to first-class trades. Christine is also clearly respected in the industry by the suppliers and contractors she sources her products and trades from and she is very current with trends.

Christine is one of the most professional and pleasant ladies I have met. She was a delight to work with as she listened to my ideas as well as giving me hers. We worked as a team to solve my issues of storage in a smaller space...making it absolutely perfect!!

We worked with Christine on our Master bath and ensuite. We knew we wanted to upgrade the overall look but were unsure about what this might look like. Christine is a great designer! She was very knowledgeable and communicated clearly with me on every step of my master ensuite reno project. Her strong network of suppliers was a huge help. And most importantly: my new bathroom is simply stunning.

I have been working with Christine from Friendly Decorator for years. She has been a great help to us with special events, being an expert that our customers can go to for help and advice. She is professional, does a great job and is still alot of fun to work with.

In 2007 Christine met with us to consult on a kitchen design for our home in New Westminster. The CAD drawings gave us a solid idea of what the end result would look like. Her attention to detail and organizational skills helped assuage our feeling of overwhelm with renovating the kitchen, dining room, 3 bathrooms and more. Christine introduced us to a great contractor she previously worked with and to various tried and true product suppliers. We were very happy to have Christine help us with every step. The end result of our reno was stunning. We moved out to Cloverdale recently and are preparing to renovate again. Christine was our first call and now we are on our way to starting another wonderful experience. Christine is friendly and also cheerful, down to earth, and a pleasure to work with.
