We had a flood in our new home, requiring a near complete remodel of the basement plus kitchen before we even moved in. Hayley stepped in immediately to help make a painful situation just a bit more bearable! She was extremely professional, timely, and helpful, making our vision come to life. She even took extra time to FaceTime us “after hours” for final stain color selection on our floors when we had to go out of town unexpectedly. Hayley truly went above and beyond and we are so happy with our finished product!

I have worked with Vintage Lane Interiors for almost a year on the renovation and update of my home and I cannot recommend Hayley enough. She is professional, organized, and has great relationships with a robust group of contractors and contacts at the Design Center and at flooring, lighting and furniture stores. Hayley took my vague ideas of what I wanted to do and crafted them into an actionable vision. Hayley provided a detailed scope of work at the beginning of the project and regularly updated it. She is an excellent communicator and can focus on little details as well as the big picture. She knows how to time projects and she knows how to create a cohesive design vision for the entire house. Her experience was invaluable for our project. She knew the best fabrics to use for a household with three children. She was very thoughtful about our lifestyle, while still keeping the design fresh. Our project included replacing kitchen and bar top counters, redesigning two fireplaces, including a great room fireplace where we put in a surround that went up 22 feet, redoing the back staircase with wrought iron balusters wood caps and a wool runner, repainting the entire house, putting in hardwood in our entire second floor, new window treatments, etc. We are now working on lighting, wallpaper and decorating. We did not use a general contractor. Instead Hayley ran the entire project. She provides turn-key service and was there when we were out of town. All of the contractors we have worked with through her have been exceptional. They have done great work and are extremely courteous. I plan to continue to work with Hayley on other projects, including guest and primary bathroom redesigns and a wine wall.

Hayley assisted me in picking out paint colors for our new home and banister, customized hardwood floors, as well and procurement of furniture, lighting and design features. I could not be more pleased with her insight and expertise into it all- not only does she have a meticulous and beautiful eye for design, but she is also knowledgable about structural aspects and durability of all the products she recommends. She stands behind her work with integrity and honesty. I could not be more pleased with our finished product! We will soon embarking on four bathroom renovations this Fall (and kitchen next) and Hayley will be my go-to designer! We recently completed our first project with HLS Designs and it was a great experience, a wonderful collaboration. Hayley commissioned me to design and make two limestone fireplace mantelpieces and a limestone range hood. In addition, she had us install our exclusive authentic lime plaster of Italy in a couple rooms of the home. An amazing eye for design, easy to communicate and discuss ideas together, Hayley is one of the best designers we have worked with!

We are absolutely thrilled with the renovation Hayley did on our home. When we first interviewed Hayley, she portrayed professionalism and confidence. Hayley proved in our renovation she knew her craft. When we moved into our home, we decided to remodel two bathrooms. Hayley took two mundane bathrooms and turned them into a joy to enter. Hayley worked tirelessly through demolition to completion with vendors who were having a tough time receiving supplies. If we picked a mirror or a bathtub and it was unavailable. Hayley, worked feverously to procure a suitable replacement. She truly is a professional. In our living area we worked together with Hayley to pick paint colors, furniture textiles and combination pillows etc. Hayley has a great eye for combining velvets and linen materials we would never have thought of. Our project was relatively small, i.e., complete renovation of 1990’s style master bathroom. With that said, Hayley approached our “reno”, from contractor selection, show-room appointments and daily attention to each step of the process from demo to completion as if it was the most important job in the world. A wonderful, detail-oriented designer full of ideas and energy. When the lighted mirror we hoped for was not easily found, she found it, ordered it, and had it delivered in time to fit the construction schedule. When the free-standing tub we ordered was delayed several times, Hayley tracked down another tub to our liking and had it delivered in time to avoid any hold-up in the construction timeline. During the construction period we were out of town for 10-days, so, you guessed it, Hayley “baby-sat” our job daily and kept us updated on progress! Throughout the product selection process her ideas and assistance was invaluable. From cabinets, to floor tile design, to shower tile, and tub location and paint, Hayley was with us every step of the way. Hayley is tireless, creative, full of ideas and “sneaky smart” in finding ways to remove barriers to getting what you need and when you need it! We subsequently worked with Hayley in choosing interior paint (and paint contractor) for our entire first floor. As well, Hayley took time to help us select, and have installed, window treatments for our entire home. Bottom-line, for any project, big or small, Hayley brings her energy, great eye for detail, and reality to your vision! Thank you Hayley!

My partner and I absolutely love working with Hayley. We worked with her on a lighting and dining room project for our house, and on an ADU we had built. Hayley worked directly with our general contractor on the ADU project on multiple occasions to resolve problems that would have caused us added stress and delayed the project if she hadn't stepped in. I felt intimidated by all of the aspects of design and Hayley was able to work with us to understand our vision, narrow down the options for us and help us through final selection. Hayley really listened to us and brought our vision to clarity even when we weren't 100% sure what our vision was at the start. I would happily work with Hayley again. I also get the sense she can work with a broad range of styles and experience levels and I'd highly recommend her to anyone.

We renovated our first and second floors in 2021. The project included an entirely new kitchen & pantry layout, as well as our family room, home office, mud room, powder room, kids bathroom, laundry room, and bedrooms. Hayley helped throughout the process with cabinet, tile, & carpet selections. She also met with myself and our contractor regarding overall layout selections, and design details. She has a great attention to detail and design. Small things that would have been overlooked by myself or the contractor, were noted and recommended by Hayley. These made a big difference in the end product. She was readily available for calls and meetings and could stand in for me when I was unable to make a meeting. We also happen to do this project during the supply chain crisis that is 2021, and now 2022. We faced many challenges throughout with delays, and she was able to communicate these in a timely manner and help problem solve. We were also able to benefit from the cost savings of working with a designer to furnish our home. I would recommend Hayley for your all of your interior design needs!
