I have worked with Linda on several projects for the Vernon Hills Park District. She has a great eye for how to freshen up spaces, develops timeless designs, and worked within our budget parameters. She was a delightful professional to work with, who I would recommend to anyone looking for commercial or residential interior design services.

I have known Linda for years personally so of course when it came time to fix up my home she was the first person that came to mind. What I didn’t realize was how talented she is with space planning. When she looked the rooms I could tell she was already evaluating what walls should come down and how the rooms should layout. When she presented the initial designs, it was very difficult to decide because I liked them all. Ultimately, we settled on a plan and the rest is history as they say.

As a colleague, I’ve had the benefit of working in one of Linda’s remodeled commercial spaces. The cramped office was reconfigured with custom cabinetry, countertops and creative storage solutions for the essentials -- aka the coffee pot! It was hard to believe that it was the same room. I have also seen how dedicated Linda is to her craft and her clients behind the scenes. She is creative and passionate about each project that comes in, making sure that the client is being taken care of every step of the way. If there’s a problem with the contractor or a delivery, she’s on it! The homeowners appreciate the stress-free approach and the end result is a beautiful and functional living space that fits their lifestyle. Her clients and co-workers also appreciate her great sense of humor and non-diva personality. Highly recommend working with Linda as a professional and a client.

As empty nesters, we concluded that after 25+ years in our home, we were ready to make some changes. We interviewed several designers in the area and after meeting with Linda we decided that she would be the best fit for our list of projects. She was very understanding that we needed to check them off one at a time and was respectful and patient as we went the through the process. Her follow through was great – kept us in the loop at every stage and did a great job of sending recap emails after our meetings just to make sure we were all on the same page. Our home now reflects our new style and we couldn’t be happier. We have actually just added two more projects to our list and she is the only one we’ll even consider.

We hired Linda and her team to create a design for our master bathroom. Initially we went out and looked for ideas on our own but soon became extremely overwhelmed. It seemed like we were getting different advice from every store we went to and it made the process even more difficult. So when we called Linda we were a little gun shy but then when we met her we knew it was going to work out. She explained the process to us and walk us through the design step by step. She showed us several ideas in the beginning and once we selected the one we liked, she put together the drawing and all the information we needed for the contractor. She even sat in during our meetings with the contractors and explained the design to them so everyone knew exactly how to bid the job. The finished bathroom was even nicer than we imagined and she thought through all the little details like outlet placement and storage. I would definitely recommend her and if we ever bite the bullet to remodel our kitchen, she’ll be the one I’ll call. Well done Linda, we absolutely love our new bathroom!

I am a single guy looking to upgrade my kitchen and new flooring to give me more space. I met Linda at the Home show in St. Charles, and after explaining my wishes a week later she came out to my home with several great ideas that fit into my budget. I am currently looking forward to working with Linda on a master bathroom upgrade as my first project came in under budget that I can now move on to this next project. If your looking for a company that goes above and beyond for their clients you will not be disappointed. I can't wait to see this next project finished.

We had Linda work with us when we were building our new home. She was a treasure! Not only did we get a better plan than what the builder originally had but she saved us from painful, costly mistakes we would have made on our own. Her spacial design & lighting was incredible. As a result, we have a home that is bright where we want and awesome for entertaining. We continued to work with her after we closed to get the perfect interior for our lifestyle & taste. We needed the guidance, Linda listened to our concerns and brought impeccable solutions (even though my husband & I have different tastes, she blended us with smooth precision). She worked with us on our family room, kitchen, master bedroom, master bath, living room, powder room, foyer and walkout basement. We have two other rooms to finish and I look forward to working with her without any hesitation. I would not even consider another designer and highly recommend her for any design project you have. She listens, asks questions to bring thoughtful, insightful, creative solutions you will love for years to come. The sooner (meaning from the beginning) you get her involved the better to save yourself a lot of heartache.

Linda has been great to work with. She has guided me on counter tops, paint and tiles while allowing me to choose what I feel is best for my style. I have never felt pushed into something that I was not 100% confident about. She is knowledgeable, professional and responsive-all very important in my book.

For the past five years Interior Transformation (Linda Fougerousse) has redesigned and/or redecorated most of the rooms in our house. Our complete satisfaction with Linda and her work should be obvious, since we have never considered using anyone else. We have also referred family and friends to her. Linda has completely redesigned our master bedroom and bathroom, walk-in closet and two smaller bathrooms. She has designed and decorated our living room, office and den. Linda uses companies that offer the widest selection of products, while also taking into account their reliability and pricing. She is able to provide flooring, carpeting, window treatments, lighting, cabinets, counter tops, plumbing fixtures, furniture and art. She has an inventory of workers - plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters and handymen - and takes on the responsibility of coordinating all the scheduling of workers and deliveries. Besides her talent and artistic eye, Linda is extremely easy to work with. She listens to what we say we're looking for and offers different options in designs and furnishings. She either takes us with her to select things or does the shopping herself and brings items to us to approve or reject. She is very accommodating of our schedules and works hard to minimize the amount of time major work disrupts our lives. I recommend Interior Transformation unequivocally and would be happy to speak to anyone who has questions.

Linda and I worked together choosing colors for my kitchen, family room and living room. She was wonderfully helpful and had a creative eye for coordinating fabric, draperies paint and flooring. I really appreciated her input and would use her again in the future.

Linda provided us a fantastic design for our kitchen remodel. The design concepts (color, features, finishes, etc) she presented after our initial meeting were what we had envisioned. Since we had completed numerous renovation projects, she suggested we be the general contractor for the project which we did with Linda providing reputable tradesmen to complete some of the work (cabinets, flooring, tiling, painting, etc). Professional, creative, visionary, driven, courteous, cost effective, and fun. I will use her in the future and recommend her to other people looking for a designer.
