Interiors by Kate, LLC

Kate earns my highest recommendation for her patience, professionalism and ability to make the best choices for my home remodel. This project included a full living room remodel -- from ceiling down to flooring -- including new furniture and rugs; paint in kitchen, breakfast room, living room and a formal dining room (now office); and a carpeted stairway and new paint. Kate also worked with me alongside an area remodeler, which took several months. As a great partner, Kate thinks of the client and the client's needs first. Her ability to make smart and stylish choices on a largely value-oriented budget is extraordinary (and often hard to find if you've ever shopped designers). Things Kate did in this project that I cherish and really like include paint and wallpaper choices; fabric recovered wingback chairs; a furniture shopping experience; overhead and room lighting; a more open ceiling design; shades and drapes; and rugs and accent pieces. Kate's got start-to-finish skills that made my home really shine after decades of neglect. I'll call Kate immediately for new update needs, and at project completion now view her as extended family.

We called Interiors by Kate to remodel 4 rooms; a living room, a dining room, a laundry room, and a play room for our son. In a short period of time, Kate had a sense for our style by simply asking a few questions and ask us to choose pictures of rooms that we liked. This was helpful because, while we had a sense for what we were looking for, we couldn't articulate exactly what we wanted. We travel a lot and were not always thinking about the project. Kate struck a nice balance of keeping us on task without being annoying or pushy. What we appreciated the most was that Kate was willing to shop for us and bring back items to try out in-house. Whatever we didn't like, she would return. This is probably the biggest reason why we were able finish our project. I would highly recommend Interiors by Kate, LLC.
