Kimaada is excellent. I used her for several rooms in my house including a complete remodel of the dining room, living room and baby's nursery. She also is awesome at picking paint colors. My painter is always blown away at how well she coordinates colors and picks just the right tone for any wall. She always pushes me just a bit outside of my comfort zone and the result is amazing. I get so many compliments on her work and have referred her to many friends and colleagues. Her attention to detail is impressive and she doesn't settle - she gets it perfect every time. I highly recommend working with Kimaada. She will be my go-to for house projects for years to come!

I started working with Kimaada mid-way though a redesign of all the major spaces in my home - living room, dining room, master bedroom and family room. While I had another designer who had be assisting me with built-ins throughout our place, I wasn't very happy with her vision for the furniture and it wasn't technically in her scope of work anyway. So I stopped into Ethan Allen one day to see if anything inspired me. Kimaada was assigned to be my designer and I was impressed with her from the very start. She was very detailed in finding out what my style was, who my favorite designers were (I watch a lot of HGTV), and most importantly what my other designer had already done so that I would end up with a cohesive space. She came out to my home later the same day and took measurements of all my spaces, reviewed my art, talked to me about what I loved that I already owned, reviewed what the other designer was going to do, and took samples of the drapes that had already been purchased. We scheduled a time the very next day to review her design at Ethan Allen, per her suggestion. When I got to see Kimaada's designs, I could not believe the accuracy with which she nailed my taste and how quickly. Again, this was for 4 rooms of my house and of the 9 items she designed/recommended there was only 1 that I didn't care for the fabric on, although I loved the style, and she came up with a perfect substitute. Everything else was exactly what I wanted. It was so much easier than I was expecting. Kimaada walked me through her ideas, letting me know why she picked each piece and each fabric. She took the time to really educate me on design. I hadn't given Kimaada a budget, so it wasn't surprising that her recommendations came in higher than I was willing to spend. However, Kimaada was quick to recommend ways to bring down the price without sacrificing the design and explained the trade-offs so I could make educated decisions on where I wanted to invest more money and where it was ok to go with something lower quality. I am extremely happy with the service I received from Kimaada throughout my remodel and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone. I can't wait to have the opportunity to work with her again. People are stunned when they come into my home and there is no question that it is MY home, reflecting my personal style, and I have Kimaada to thank for it!

Kimaada is very professional and has an amazing eye. She respects your budget and is very honest regarding what does and does not work in a room. Kimaada's easy going personality is a pleasure to work with. I plan on using her again.
