We bought a new home in the Berkeley Hills and had to furnish everything in the home from dishes, towels, to all the furnishings. Lauren was fantastic to work with from start to finish. We had many meetings with her via Zoom so she could understand our dream of what the home would look like when we moved in. I wanted to let everyone know how much we have loved all she did to furnish our new home! It is so beautiful and we just love everything she did! It’s perfect! This was all done remotely and it could not have been easier. She is so easy to work with and has tremdous talents and vision. We can not recommend her more highly. Besides being extremely talented she is a very personable individual.

Moving into a new ranch-style home after several decades in a traditional three-story Arts & Crafts, we searched for a designer who could successfully integrate and update our existing furnishings, add some unique new pieces, upgrade both lighting and surfaces, and create an overall sense of comfort in our new environment. It took rejecting a slew of prima donnas quoting chart-busting prices before we hit the jackpot with Lauren! From our initial interview through nearly a year-long project, Lauren delivered on every metric – professionalism, creativity, responsiveness, flexibility, resourcefulness, and a unique ability to listen to our desires and integrate them into her vision. Lauren is a talented designer with a marvelous sense of scale and attention to detail, and the uncanny ability to get it all across electronically as well as in person. Over time, she has developed a full range of supporting resources covering all aspects of a home design project, enabling her to offer a wide spectrum of suppliers and contractors depending on your taste and budget. Her cordial working relationships with the trades and suppliers leads to their prioritizing her scheduling needs and coordinating their services – to the direct benefit of her clients. Throughout the entire process, Lauren was highly accessible and imaginative, talents that were put to the test whenever any “supply chain” glitches arose. Lauren is simply a standout professional who harnesses her superior abilities, taste and good humor to exceed her clients’ expectations. We would highly recommend Lauren to anyone needing design work. We worked with Lauren to design a backyard ADU. Lauren took the time to learn what inspires us, and our hopes for the space, and was able to deliver efficiently and accurately on the aesthetic that we wanted. She is clear, concise, and an excellent communicator which is much appreciated when so much is done via email and texting, often in a time crunch with construction. Also, when problems would arise as the project was building, Lauren always delivered a solution quickly. For two people who have never done this before, we really appreciated how easy it was to work with Lauren. Thank you!

Working with Lauren was fantastic! She really took the time to understand my vision and my design preferences and incorporated them into her ideas. She was incredibly gracious and professional when we had differing ideas and did a phenomenal job of upleveling whatever my ideas were into beautiful room designs! Lauren was always so responsive and was really on top of any issues that came up. This was my first renovation (we did a light renovation of the kitchen, dining area and 1 bathroom as well as installed new lighting and window treatments throughout) and I really would not have been able to get through it without Lauren's help! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for beautiful designs and professionalism!

Lauren is a true genius! We have lived in our home for 7 years and just survived a terrible remodel experience. LAUREN TO THE RESCUE! She came in, picked the perfect new furniture/layout for our living room, dining room and entry and truly helped us love our space again. She beautifully combined modern elements with cultural pieces that are important to our family. She also had the best eye EVER for function. We have a three year old and really needed great pieces that provided storage, cleanability, etc. She really nailed it! Lauren was super kind, reliable and just a pleasure to work with and communicate with!!! You won't regret working with her.

Lauren is not only a talented designer but a genuinely nice person. My project was a down to the studs renovation of a home I've lived and loved living in for more than half my life. It's been emotional. Lauren has been one of the greatest pleasures in the entire process. She listens, she is calm, she is efficient, she can see the big picture, she has the resources, the experience, the answers and the talent and she is kind. Lauren's eye is unerring. And she knows how to take your uncertainties and too many ideas and bring it all together and make it happen. I've had so many moving parts and gotten myself into some "corners" in my project, Lauren always sees the way out and ahead. She makes it beautiful. I'm so grateful to have found her. In a challenging project, it's been a pleasure every step of the way with Lauren.

Lauren has amazing vision and ideas for interior design, and we've been extremely pleased with the results of both our living room and kitchen re-dos. In both cases, Lauren thought of creative ways to arrange furniture, design custom pieces, and use color to completely transform and enhance the spaces. She also shared her extensive knowledge of local referrals and resources, and gave good advice about project management. In addition to being a great designer, Lauren is a real professional. She is a great communicator, lovely to work with, and was always open to suggesting new ideas without judgement. She is a creative, efficient designer, and a joy to work with. I highly recommend her!

Lauren recently helped me with a large updating project for my house - remodeled 2 bathrooms, new paint everywhere, some new furnishings and styling. She was fabulous and I can't recommend her enough! Lauren has a vast experience in all areas of remodeling and design, so she was able to help with everything from initial design concept boards to specific design details. She was always there to assist and provide invaluable suggestions, information and referrals. And, it is fun and a pleasure to work with Lauren. Highly recommend!

I LOVE working with Lauren! She can magically match colors by looking at rugs and furniture online, brings us up to date by brilliantly encouraging us to get things like a microwave drawer (which I'm enjoying way more than I thought), and she knows how to respect our different family tastes with combinations that look amazing. I couldn't recommend her enough! My husband and I worked with Lauren on our kitchen, dining room, living room, and bathroom.

Lauren is perfect!! We are a married couple who just moved into a new home. We have completely different visions, and she was able to satisfy the both of us far exceeding our expectations. We are both extremely impressed by her. So far, she has worked with us on our living room, entryway, and laundry room. With the limited budget she had to work with, it is astonishing to see the final product; she is quite talented. We wanted a comfortable, cozy, aesthetically-pleasing environment, and she did just that! I love how responsive and available she is. I am looking forward to all of our future projects with her. Who knew a pool table could look so good in a living room? Yep, that was for the hubby! Please see her before and after pictures. We didn't do a complete remodel or gutting of the house. We told her we wanted to work with what we have, and, boy, did she nail it! Yes, she is going to have to make the honey oak wood work (another hubby request).

I can not recommend Lauren enough. She recently helped us with a bathroom remodel as well as an exterior update (siding, paint, fixtures, fence and gate). In the past she has helped us with a playroom, kid’s room, living room and a hallway update. My house is over 100 years old and any update is always more difficult than anticipated. Lauren was alway available for consultation with myself or the contractor and can able to cook up a creative solutions. She is responsive and prompt. Not to mention that her designs are amazing! She works within my budget and always give multiple suggestions for each item. I know that am in good hands when I work with Lauren.

We purchased our first home and needed some help coming up with a gradual plan to improve and update the look within a reasonable budget. Lauren far exceeded our expectations. We had anticipated needing some costly upgrades like completely redoing the stairs, but Lauren pointed out that simply painting them white would dramatically improve the look. She had very creative yet practical ideas and the result is a much nicer looking house with some fun features like a colourful accent wall and modern chandeliers, all within our budget. Everything is also durable and kid friendly. She also provided us with layouts incorporating our current furniture and art pieces with recommendations for complementary pieces. We are planning on hiring her later when we are ready for some additional improvements to our home. Lauren was a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend her!

Bottom line of this review is that Lauren listens, brings about her professionalism and design expertise to every project. I’m a professional artist and I do not take designing my home (and my secondary workplace) lightly. I’m very particular, I do my own research and I can be hyper critical of even the smallest details. We’ve brought in Lauren on 3 separate projects. The first was for our beautiful flat in Noe Valley about 3 years ago. She’s helped us utilize items we already had while adding key items that could bring an entirely new design concept and flow to our apartment. This year we bought a home in SF and we looped in Lauren on the floor plan even before we closed on the home. We’ve since had our daughter which brings another layer into the design thinking (as well as my wife and I will be working from home for the foreseeable future). Lauren has worked with us seamlessly throughout the evolutions of our needs. We always recommend her as she’s critical to making a house a home.

We were delighted with Lauren's design services for our kitchen and two bath remodel. She made the remodel as manageable as possible for our busy lives, incorporating our preferences and also offering what proved to be spot-on design suggestions. Our contractor loved working with her and thanks in part to her expertise and responsiveness, the entire project finished on time and on budget.
