You don't need a new house to make a new home is the philosophy behind Mary Meyer Interiors. To me, design is all about being inspired and helping those around me become inspired by their surroundings. This idea, which probably resonates from my love affair with "The Wizard of Oz", is the cornerstone of my design philosophy- a room must tell a story that gives a nod to the bittersweet past ideologies, while stepping bravely away to embrace a blood-bubbling new energy... A contrast that assaults your eyeballs, like a single wall of uncomfortably-flamboyant metallic 1970's wallpaper in an otherwise, starkly charcoal painted room or the cheeky flamingo print you don’t know why your subconscious is enamored with. Inspired interior design gives you the ability to evolve as a person and re-imagine any world you want all in the same room, in the same home, over a lifetime. After all … "there’s no place like home.”
