We worked with STORIE on a renovation of our 1,500 SF condo in Brooklyn, NY. Rhobin and his team were instrumental in helping us to design several areas of our living space, including closets, built-ins, lighting, fixtures and finishes. The centerpiece of our apartment: built-in bookshelves in our living room, which they designed and found the perfect carpenter to build. LOVE. They also transformed the lighting throughout our apartment, including recessed lighting in our main areas. Notably, they worked with us to deliver top-notch solutions on a budget (raw materials and the labor to install everything). We are so thrilled with the outcome, and highly recommend them for any house design / reno projects!

Working with Rhobin and his assistant, 'Chi', was an absolute pleasure! I found Rhobin's work/portfolio after a bit of research and fell in love with his design and approach. After a few email correspondences, Rhobin came out to my company for a consultation, where he clearly outlined his goals, the scope of work, and really put me at ease! Our company hired Rhobin to complete a full design of our 'tech team' space which was about 2,000 sq ft. Rhobin provided multiple concepts and design options and was able to execute under an extremely tight deadline, with employees in and out of the department. Rhobin's design enhanced the aesthetic look of the department, while also creating an efficient and inviting space for the team to collaborate! I would definitely hire him again for not only personal but commercial design projects as I know he will execute - with a smile! THANK YOU RHOBIN!

Rhobin is a lifesaver. Truly. After my boyfriend and I were ghosted (literally) 3 weeks before our move by a designer we had engaged, we found Rhobin and somehow moved into our apartment just days later with all of our furniture, carpets, accents, etc. in place or on the way. Time crunch was a serious understatement. Rhobin power-designed to get things selected and ordered, repurposing our existing furniture to make sure it made sense while still adding in lots of fun and flair. Our budget as well as our interest in mixing high/low was 100% respected and we loved everything Rhobin sent our way. His background as an architect means that everything is done to perfect precision. There's no better way to explain this than how he managed to find us a wardrobe that fits perfectly in front of a door and allows both the closet door and the wardrobe door to be open at the same time. That probably doesn't make sense but trust me, it's epic. HIRE THIS COMPANY!

Rhobin & Chi, of Rhobin DelaCruz Designs, helped us (e.g., carried us all the way through) through a pretty, hefty renovation of our apartment, and they did amazing work! They guided us through renovating our bathroom, all floors, all light fixtures, and re-painting the entire apartment. Working with them was great. After talking through what I thought I would like, they would present various options, discussing with me and helping me come to decisions that made sense, were aesthetically appealing, and were cohesive. They also worked really well with the contractors and were great project managers of the entire renovation. Chi would stop by the apartment regularly to check in on the status of work, provide updates back to us, and give feedback to the contractors - which was amazing. It was comforting to feel like she took a lot of ownership over the work and wouldn't let anything slip. The end-product feels amazing. The bathroom, which was a cavernous pit, is now much more spacious & calming in feeling; overall, it's much more functional as well (RDD suggested making a custom cut-out for shelves and for a cat box, which has been a great use of space). The rest of the apartment, with regard to the work done for the floors, painting, and light fixtures, looks much more "together" - a nice polish tying together an otherwise quirky personal style. All this to say, truly above and beyond! It was a pleasure to work with Chi & Rhobin both, and I would 100% work with them again.

Rhobin was the first decorator we ever hired, and boy was he amazing!!!! He took the time to really listen to what we were looking to execute, and incorporated all of our feedback into the approach. As first time homeowners, we were in the midst of a a lot of change at once, and Rhobin was phenomenal at helping us break out the project in stages. I would highly recommend Rhobin in the future, and plan on using his services again (hopefully) soon!

Working with Chi and Rhobin was a dream! I was a 20-something with my first apartment and absolutely no style, and not only did they totally transform the way I could use the space, it was designed beautifully and with such style. They took very little direction on styles that were appealing to me and were able to make it mine. From a logistical standpoint, Chi's management of the general contractor was incredibly helpful in keeping the project on track, especially within the stringent rules of my co-op building. They increased the value of my apartment tremendously when I sold a few years later, so it was a great investment to work with them.

Not enough space here to rave about all of Rhobin's talents and expertise. He is a gifted designer with a keen sense of what the client wants and how to get that done the best way for the best price and within the right time frame. He and his partner, Chi, are a terrific team whose strengths complement each other. Meticulous project management and oversight, great vendors and resources, and exceptional communications. They managed a NYC apartment renovation for us. We could only be on site limited times, so their management and finesse were invaluable. We recommend highly!

Working with Rhobin and Chi a few years ago was a breeze! I needed some renderings for a cafe concept in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. WIthin 48hrs I had complete concept ideas and I absolutely loved them. They're literally the only design team that I didn't have to request a hundred "tiny tweaks" from! Thank you!

My husband and I purchased our condo and besides purchasing a couch, table and chair, had no idea where to begin when it came to decorating our spaces. We were overwhelmed with options and weren't sure how to represent our individual styles in one cohesive design. Rhobin and Chi were a pleasure to work with and were patient with us as we worked to design our dream spaces. They pushed us out of our comfort zones and helped us create the perfect environment for our condo. From furniture to artwork to accessories, they helped us with it all. We have received so many compliments from family and friends and are absolutely in love with our home. Rhobin and Chi were professional, kind and quick to respond to emails. Rhobin is a fantastic designer that we strongly admire and recommend. He has a strong sense of aesthetic balance, especially when dealing with seemingly contradicting colors, materials, and textures. His use of color is absolutely remarkable, accenting rooms in just the right ways.
