Kristin Boston was absolutely wonderful to work with on the design of our kitchen! She is very professional, personable, caring, detail-oriented, thorough and has a great sense of style. She listened to what we wanted and needed and then provided great options/choices. Kristen added special touches to her services by going the extra mile for items we needed for our make shift kitchen during the remodel, periodic check ins, suggestions to make life easier for us, suggestions on new table/chairs & a sense of humor. I trust her judgment & character as she proved to be very trustworthy from start to finish. After the remodel, we had some adjustments needed for our cabinets. She responded quickly and had her cabinet guys at our house to address the adjustments. We are very happy with the services she provided and would highly recommend her without any hesitation. She is worth every penny & we are extremely happy with our kitchen!

I cant say enough about Kristin and her team! We absolutely love working with UYDS. We do our best to involve them in every project. I wouldn't recommend anyone else! We will continue to work together for years to come no doubt. :)

Kristin has super powers! She was able to balance my tastes with my husband’s tastes and gently guide us toward choices that also fit the style of our home. The result is a stunning update to our kitchen, family room and powder room that complement one another and the rest of the house. She is patient, easy to work with and always very responsive to questions.

Kristin was wonderful to work with, she helped my parents with various projects from full kitchen remodel to out of state bathroom design and did such a beautiful job I knew I wanted her on board when we were ready to do our kitchen remodel. She was thorough and thoughtful in rearranging the kitchen layout, making the flow as natural and efficient as possible. She helped us choose cabinet style and color, countertop, backsplash, hardware and fixtures, making sure the finished kitchen would look cohesive. She has a great eye and is a wonderful designer, very responsive and just an all around pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Kristin and will be using her for any design and cabinet needs in the future.

My house was built in 1953 -- kitchen expanded and remodeled in the late 1960s. Never understood the remodel and lived with a problematic space for 15 years. I knew from my first meeting with Kristin that we were going to have a good time. She listened first, and then asked questions. We laughed a lot. She was quick to understand what was important to me, and what was not. She "got" me. Every time she showed up with samples later in the process there was always one that just said "Yes". I really appreciated her willingness to walk me through parts of the process with which I was unfamiliar. Kristin was very responsive to communications throughout both the design and construction portions of the remodel. I was able to observe her communication style with my contractor, which gave me great confidence. Her support staff is super competent and a pleasure to work with as well. I now have a kitchen that makes my heart sing every time I walk in there.

We highly recommend Kristin and can't imagine going through such as big project without her expertise and wise counsel. She worked with us to transform our tired, old house into a beautiful and useful home. Kristin has a wonderful eye for design and color, creative ideas, and the experience and head for business to implement her ideas. Most importantly, Kristin is a good Listener and has a Kind Heart. These qualities may not be high on the shopping list of someone who hasn't started a big project yet, but I can assure you, anyone who is lucky enough to work with Kristin will appreciate these qualities as you wade into any renovation project.

We worked with Kristin on remodeling the kitchen and fireplace area. This was a challenging space with some odd angles and we had initially planned to stick with the existing cabinet layout. Kristin suggested an alternate design with an island and drew up plans for both layouts so we could compare them. We were skeptical at first but she came up with a clever design that was a natural fit for our space. It incorporated features from the room yet brought a modern feel to it. It had ample walk around space and maximized the cabinet storage. And best of all it took care of all our needs with little touches that showed her long experience in the field. Both our contractor and the countertop fabricator commented on the creativity of the design. Kristin walked us through the cabinet choices and helped us pick a quality brand at a reasonable price. She was open to working with any cabinet brand of our choice but in the end we went with the one she was most familiar with. The cabinets turned out to be well made, got delivered on schedule and Kristin was prompt in contacting them to ship out the odd piece that had damage. We had gone back and forth on cabinets for a long time but once we started working with Kristin the choices became clear and we could move forward quickly. Kristin also chose the tile, paint, stain etc. Her choices turned out to be a good fit with the overall design and she made an effort to take our preferences into account for each of them. For the ones that we chose on our own like pulls, lighting etc, Kristin gave us great tips on what to look for and helped narrow down the choices when it got overwhelming. Kristin is a creative and experienced designer. She is flexible, down to earth and a pleasure to work with. Between Kristin and our contractor, the entire remodel turned out to be a low stress experience. We wouldn't hesitate to hire her again for our next design project.
