We got to meet Laura through the recommendation of our realtor last summer when we relocated from west coast to North Carolina. The house we got here is very different from our old house back there in terms of style, size and floorplan, so we would like to have some professional help with furnishing the new place. By the time we met Laura, we already painted the whole house, have decided on the rooms we would like her help with, how we would use each of those rooms, and have a few pieces of furniture we brought from old house that we would like to incorporate in the decoration if possible. Laura ended up helping us with Living Room, Family Room, dining room, breakfast area, guest bedroom, master bedroom, kid's room and office. In most of these rooms, she would help us pick out everything: furniture, window treatment, carpet, light fixture, wall art and even beddings in some bedrooms. It was amazing to see how much Laura knew and could do - she is definitely much more than what you would expect from a decorator. She is an expert in interior decoration of course, but she also knows a lot about anything about a house - she could sew to alter the length of a ready-made drapery to fit the length we wanted, figure out how the wire of the lighting works of an entertainment center to know which part was missing, etc. Besides, she has all the connection of right person to finish the whole project whenever needed (painter, handy man, electrician, etc.) In a word, knowing Laura would probably be all you need to get an project done around your house! This was our first time working with a professional decorator, so we were uncertain at times. Laura was always courteous, encouraging and yet quite straightforward and clear in her thoughts, very sharp in her observation of the situation as well as capturing our thoughts and preferences that it was such a pleasure working with her! She made it very clear early on that we could be very honest with her without ever worrying if we'd offend her if we didn't like what she proposed, because this is our house and she would do everything she could to make sure it would feel like our home at the end. She and her assistant worked very hard to make sure we were completely satisfied with the result. Throughout the whole project, we felt well heard and respected, but also had her support with professional eye and opinion when we felt undecided or needed some suggestion. What we also liked about Laura was that, she was always willing to share decoration tips with us throughout the whole process. For example, for our guest bedroom, we brought the bed as well as two night stands. She helped pick the carpet, curtains, chest, a chair and the bedding. I decided to shop for the decorative mirror above the chest, as well as the lamps for the night stands. Laura described what I should look for (and why) to complete the look. Indeed I got something that fit her description and it did look fantastic! I should say that I never enjoy shopping because the choices out there are often overwhelming. But Laura would give a few tips which helps me focus and narrow down tremendously so it became quite enjoyable! What I learned from her would go a long way. What Laura helped us pick and put together was incredible. In our previous house, we were uncertain about the usage of colorful things and ended up with mostly black, white, grey or brown. While it was safe, it could be boring and uncharacteristic. With Laura's help, we had warm and inviting colors throughout the house. Everything looked coordinated and well blended, with interesting features/elements here and there. All the furniture pieces are of the right size that fit and utilize the space wonderfully. We have received many compliments from guests, some of which got inspired and showed interest in working with Laura in the future!

Laura did a wonderful job on my home. Thank you so much Laura (and team) I could not have done this with out you. You have changed the way my family lives. We love spending time at home now it feels so warm and comfortable. I am looking forward to phase two! I would recommend Laura to everyone. We hired Laura Redd Interiors for a full kitchen remodel. She listened to my ideas and was receptive to incorporate them into her kitchen design. Laura got to know our likes and dislikes, and then would give us 3-4 options to choose from, when looking at things like lighting, hardware and decorative items. Our home is a 60's ranch, and was very dated. We did a full kitchen remodel, including brand new cabinets, counters, appliances, flooring, moving of walls, electrical, gas, paint and windows. Custom made and hung barn doors and a custom update to a beautiful antique farmhouse table both add such special detail to our newly redone home. Her team of experts were professional and also were receptive to changes and suggestions as well. Our project did take a little longer than anticipated, due to some timing issues, but overall, we are so pleased with the outcome, I wouldn't change a thing. Now, I actually enjoy cooking and entertaining in my kitchen! We would hire Laura Redd again, and we are considering hiring her for another exterior project for our home. I would highly recommend this home improvement team!

Laura and team have done it again. I have used Laura Redd Interiors for the past five years. She and her team never disappoint. She has clearly identified my style better than I ever could. The end results leave my home inviting and warm. They are totally me. She designs for her client, not injecting her style on others. I value her judgment. The entire process is stress free. She clearly explains what is going on throughout the project. The estimates are well done and take into account the hidden gotcha's. I cannot say enough. Laura did an excellent job on our kitchen remodel, it looks fabulous. She was easily accessible, answering texts and phone calls at all time, on week-ends and evenings. The quality of the work is excellent, if something was not done to her high standard it was corrected. It went over a little over budget and a bit over deadline, resulting in four stars instead of five. We would recommend Laura Redd Interiors and will be working with her again for future remodeling jobs.

It was especially helpful (and saved us money) when we could simply text you a few pictures and you would steer us in the right direction with no fuss! Whether we needed you for a day or an hour...you were there for us! Regardless of size, through both big and small projects, you gave 110% to each of them! Laura has been a fantastic decorator for us, and I thought I was not a "decorator" kind of person. She is so good at listening to our likes/dislikes, and is really creative. The end product of her work is FANTASTIC. She helped stage our last house for selling - before she helped our realtor suggested a price on the house. After 2 hours of her time and painting/moving furniture based on her recommendations (plus some little staging fixes) our realtor increased the ask price on our house by $60,000! We got $2,000 less than asking! In our new house she has decorated 2 offices, our media/play room, a bathroom and our master bedroom. I anticipate we will keep working through rooms till the whole thing is done! Some of the things we love about her: - Designs rooms to fit our style, not hers - Works with what we already have, minimizing new purchases - Is phenomenal with color - her ability to choose paints and tie colors together is crazy good - Is super patient when we say no to a slew of suggestions or have weird specific requests - Coordinates and oversees all services/subcontractors, making the projects happen like magic - Pushes us to go outside of our comfort zone on occassion - which always ends up being a good decision She is in high demand and sometime it takes a while to get project design complete between my crazy schedule and hers, but once everything is decided she executes quickly. My favorite rooms in the house are the ones she has designed!
