We had metal roofing ordered and delivered professionally by Lowe's. Metal roofing was damaged from factory delivery to Lowe's and metal roofing had to be re-ordered and re-shipped. Lowe's delivery and sales staff were very friendly and professional. We are very satisfied with our purchase, product, and service from Lowe's Home Centers, LLC.

I had 4 windows and 2 doors installed (1 sliding glass, 1 french door). If it was just the windows then this review might be a little different. The windows were great. The sliding door was great. The french door was not done correct at all. The photos are just a select few of many. Not only was the door not hung plumb but it was off by a 1/4 inch the industry standard is 1/8th of an inch. Be weary of places that use sub contractors you never know who you're going to get. The ones I got caused damage to nearly every type of surface in my house (walls, floors, my brand new fridge, the lids to my brand new toilets). They stood on the toilets to install the windows. The guy rushed through the french door install while the other guy (his nephew apprentice) did the rest of the projects. They left trash behind. I had them come back on numerous occasions to try and fix the door to no avail. I contacted the manufacture who said it was Lowe's issue. Lowe's said it was the installers issue. Keep in mind Lowe's is the one who hired the sub contractor (Superior Doors and Windows) in the first place. I asked if anyone could fix it they said no one but the original installer. They said he was the best. I said I could do better. I asked if I could get a new door they said they could remove the door and refund me. That seemed like an asinine solution considering the disposed of the old door and that would leave me with an eight foot hole in my wall. I asked if Milgard (the mfg) could come out and fix it they said no. Every place blame on other people. It was a nightmare. I paid around $6000.00 for the total project and they would not stand by any of it, not even there 100% satisfaction guarantee. After all that they said I didn't need permits. turns out I did need them at least that was put on them an not me. Do your research don't end up like me.

I shop at Lowe's for almost everything I need for my home improvements, maintenance and repairs. I have always been pleased with all my purchases. I asked for a representative to come to my home to give me an estimate on replacing all my windows and sliding doors (approx. 15 openings). The representative was very professional, knowledgeable, educational, and polite. We had a very nice visit. However, the price I received for the job was the second most expensive bid out of 5 estimates I acquired, which was about twice as much as the one I went with. The one I went with provided an excellent window with the best LowE available.
