I hired Ron after a referral from my real estate agent (who used to work with his wife). He came out to my home 3 times over a month and I walked him through several things I wanted done. I asked for a broken out estimate. His prices were higher on a few items (flooring installation and custom closet) than businesses that specialize in those types of jobs. So, I asked if he'd be willing to do the kitchen remodel work. He agreed and we landed on a price that included a profit he said he needed to make. He took a key to my home (I was going to be out of town) and agreed to come that week to start the work. I emailed to confirm what we'd agreed to and he said he'd come the next morning with his helper to start the work. He arrived and proceeded to tell me the budget we'd agreed to for the job (after he'd had a month of 3 separate visits to my home to refine his proposal) wasn't enough and that he didn't know the real cost. This is a dishonest and unreliable contractor who will waste your time and not follow through on the agreed upon work.
