Bosancu Construction

Daniel was a joy to work with -- we gutted a 1960's bathroom with a giant jacuzzi tub sunken in the floor and turned it into a more Finnish-style tiled double shower. Nothing in the room was square to start with -- slopes of a couple of inches over just a few feet in some places. He turned this very challenging canvas into the only level-floored room in our entire (very wavy) house, and did great work enlarging the windows, adding plumbing and integrating the vanity we chose. Total time elapsed was pretty close to estimated, given that snowmageddon and my own ordering mistakes caused some delays as well. He and his tile crew took great care to keep the house tidy each day, keeping dust well-contained, and did their best to work around baby schedules for the noisier work. They managed to make the room look and feel square even with extensive wall tiling, which has a tendency to make things look wonky. The exterior trim work around the enlarged window cuts is also excellent -- you'd never know it was done. He even jumped in to help us fix a surprise plumbing leak from an old in-line water filter hidden behind the fridge when it cropped up on the last day of work. We really appreciated how Daniel checked in with detailed questions about the challenges he encountered along the way, making sure that we were happy with the outcome each time. We'll happily work with Bosancu Construction again in the future as we get the rest of our compound together!
