Aside from doing a great job with removing the popcorn ceilings, painting and repairing doors/walls, Ernie and his crew were great with their communication. He was there everyday until the project was complete without any breaks between the days. The quality is outstanding and we have received several compliments from our friends and family. I worked with Ernie at ValFre when I bought my townhouse in Santa Monica. The place needed plenty of work, both cosmetic and structural, including electrical, plumbing, etc. Ernie was easy to deal with and clear on what they were going to do. And when they ran into unexpected problems he always had a solution, which he often implemented before I even knew there was a problem. He's not afraid to share his honest opinion on design options even when it resulted in us going with a lower cost option. His crew was friendly and trustworthy and I had no problems with them in the house unsupervised. And, most importantly, the finished results came out great. Even our realtor was blown away by the job Ernie and his team did. I'd definitely work with ValFre again when I need work done.

Ernie remolded my duplex in 2010. It was a complete remodel with custom cabinets and new courter top. His work is EXCELLENT and the design was PERFECT and exactly what we needed! I think his crew is amazing, responsible and honest. We couldn't have possible asked for more. If you are looking for a contractor in the LA area. I recommend you stop looking for anyone else and call Ernie.

His crew work hard to finish projects in a timely matter and on targeted timeframe. The project included gutting and redesign of bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and living room area as well as exterior stucco and paint. I highly recommend Ernie for all your remodel needs!

They did a reno for me that covered much of my home, including adding a new master bedroom to my house, full interior and exterior paint, laying new floors, and adding a new bathroom.
