A true professional construction company from design services through every aspect of renovation, remodeling or new build. Most of the craftspeople are employees, and they are true craftspeople with an undisputed pride in their work. They are friendly, engaging, and most important talented. You are comfortable with them working in your house, and they clean up at the end of each day. We renovated more than half the house, and it included moving load bearing and exterior walls and roof, all new electrical infrastructure, plumbing, and HVAC. Any changes to the planned schedule or cost were due to us making changes, we were kept in the loop on who would be working on the house and when. The Gridley team was on top of all the issues, and helped keep the level of stress to a bare minimum. I strongly recommend them for any construction project you are considering.

We hired Gridley to remodel our kitchen, bath, and upgrade our living area. We met with Linda who talked with us about what we needed done. She gave us some ideas, listened to ours, and gave us a ballpark estimate. We then met with Lisa Cross who gave us several design choices. We chose one at which time she gave us choices of materials, etc. step by step. She was very insightful as to what we liked and always gave us choices, usually about 3 and more if needed. She coordinated everything beautifully! The other need we had was to make the kitchen and bath suitable for my 103 mother to use. It has been wonderful to have her still be able to be independent, particularly being able to access things in drawers. We had the entire project done with us in Montana for 4 months. My husband wanted to have breakfast in the new kitchen when we returned, and he did! The entire crew worked in a professional manner to get everything done. We are still loving the space 3 years later.

We wanted to create an open kitchen and family room in our 1950's ranch which would open up the existing rooms yet keep consistent with the feel of the rest of our home. We spoke with a number of architects about the project and ultimately chose Gridley Company for the project. Our reasons for choosing Gridley were: design/build meant we could deal with one group from start to finish, smaller investment up front in the "design" phase vs. an architect (allowed us to assure over time this group would be the right fit for us), quality of the work we saw in other projects, and "fit" with the designer and team. We worked with Gemma as our designer and that was a great partnership. She was able to take the ideas and desires we had about the space and help us formulate them in to something that was cohesive in look, fit the style we were hoping for, and perhaps more importantly, look like it was always there vs an addition. Roger was our project manager and was great to work with throughout the actual remodel. He and the team were knowledgeable, always available for questions, and respectful of the fact that we and our children were living in the house through a pretty intensive project. They completed the project by the promised date, even with a few delays along the way. Finally, Roger was responsive and worked with use quickly to solve a few small issues that came up following project completion. All in all, we had a very positive experience with the Gridley team and would recommend them to others!

Linda and her staff did an incredible job remodeling our pool room. It was a room that we never really used and now it is the center of our living. Gridley Company was patient and helped us to design the room so that it came out perfect.

After meeting Linda (owner) and Lisa (designer) we knew we had found a company which could meet our needs. We needed to have the work done while we were out of the area for four months, and also be able to find ways to improve workability for my 100 year old mother. We wanted a new kitchen, new bath more suitable for my mother, and needed the floor raised in the livingroom to make all spaces on one level. The project included new flooring throughout, painting, lighting, and brand new kitchen and bath. We got a space which is wonderful for us all... light and bright, more storage, and easily accessable drawers for dishes, etc. The quality of workmanship and communication was top rate. We just completed a complete kitchen remodel, and we couldn't be happier. I've experienced several remodeling projects from different companies (bathroom remodel, garage renovation, master suite new construction, large backyard landscape), and this was the best of the bunch. We chose Gridley after interviewing four other firms. Of course, each has its individual business plan and process. We found Gridley's to be the most customer friendly, up-front and honest, and committed to customer satisfaction. The initial meeting with Linda gave us a solid overview of the design-build process including how costs would be determined, what we would expect in terms of cost and time, and how the process would proceed. The idea was to renovate the kitchen, but the outcome was an "open concept" connecting the kitchen and the living room. Lisa was helpful with furniture layout and selection as well as colors although much of this really all exceeded the scope of the project. We worked with Lisa as our designer, and we found her very easy to work with. In the end we combined her design ideas with our own, and the outcome was really good. I like that everything was scheduled . . . the time window for the design process, the time window after design-before build while the materials were ordered, and the building process itself. We worked with Brian as our project manager. He was always responsive, and he anticipated even the smallest concern we might have, and almost always fixed problems before we even had to ask about them. Clearly Brian and the entire company is truly committed to quality and customer satisfaction. The construction timeline lasted just about three months, just as planned, even with our own change orders. We ended up with a great new kitchen that changes the whole house and that was completed on time and within budget.

We hired Gridley Co. To do a kitchen/dining room remodel 8 years ago. They were so professional, from the demolition crew to cabinet installer. We worked w/ their designers to create the look we wanted. We are currently working with them again on a remodel of our Great Room. With this remodel the designers used a program that showed us what the room will look like. This was very helpful as we were able to make changes to finally create the room that will work best for our needs and still be able to stay within our budget.
