Using Tark General Contracting LLC is probably the best decision I could have made. I saw five different contractors about our master bathroom remodeling project and had a great feeling after talking to Chris. He covered details that other contractors didn't ask or consider. He is clearly very knowledgeable about every aspect of the business and clearly brings firsthand experience to the table. Each of the people that did work on various aspects of the job were polite and a pleasure to work with, but most importantly, they did very high-quality work even when a few curveballs came into the equation. Chris was at the job continuously to make sure everything was going as expected and to make sure we were happy with the results. He was even more detailed than my wife and I. When Tark General Contracting LLC was finished, my wife and I were even happier than we could have expected. The results were amazing and our bathroom is now the nicest room in the house. I highly recommend Chris and Tark General Contracting LLC. He is also a great person to work with.

Chris’s team did a great job. We gave them the tough task of tiling our kitchen with Zellige handmade tiles (being handmade, each tile is a different size and shape). His team crushed it and kept the lines as straight as possible but also allowed the tile to add its natural movement as we asked.

We had a kitchen make over and enlisted Chris Tarkini's professional assistance. Chris was prompt, paid attention to detail and kept in contact with us regarding what would be done on a specific day, who to expect in the house and when he would be over to give final inspections on everything. I particularly liked that his wife, Mona, is a home decorator and was able to go out with me to pick out all the tile, hardware, lighting, colors for the cabinets and counter tops. They both always responded quickly and professionally to our questions. Chris was extremely respectful to give us a heads up on times, delays, etc with regards to the products being put in or the contractors visiting us for the labor. I would highly recommend Chris for your home improvement needs and we look forward to working with him and Mona again in the future.

Chris built an incredibly beautiful study / bar in walnut paneling. He took what was an ordinary sheetrock dining room and transformed it into a cozy, warm, masculine study with a built in desk, bookshelves and benches, complete with a wet bar including a wine rack, icemaker, and a sink. His craftsmanship is truly impressive and it shows in the final product. Our guests are amazed at the transformation of this room, which looks like it was built with the house 75 years ago. Everyone is drawn to it and wants to cozy up on the leather couch with a cocktail or glass of wine. Chris was very nice, flexible and organized. He checked in with me every day and we worked very well together as the room and my vision took shape. Highly recommend!

Chris and his wife Ramona are fantastic people to work with. From the initial meeting we had with them to go over the project, we knew we would go with them for our bathroom remodel. Ramona did a great job on the design portion of the remodel, picking out different materials and colors that my wife and I were looking for, and making sure we were satisfied with the design before construction began. Also, her communication is second to none. Chris then came in to start work on the remodel itself. His attention to detail, punctuality, and overall professionalism is fantastic. He always makes sure his clients are pleased, and takes care of all the communication with the additional contractors. Chris Tarquini did an incredible job remodeling my master bath. He has an amazing attention to detail and made sure everything was completed to his standards. One of my requirements was to find a contractor who would do most of the work himself. Chris was on the job every day along with his helper, Brian. We used Tark Custom Interiors to renovate our kitchen. My husband and I found Chris to be extremely conscientious with a keen eye on the details. From beginning to end, we felt Chris had great follow through. Thankfully, for us, there was never a day when Chris or a sub contractor was expected at our home and did not show up. We were always aware of who was expected and when they would arrive. Chris checked in daily when the subs were at our home. He checked in to make sure they arrived as expected and then he checked in at the end of the day to make sure the work was done as expected. We are absolutely in love with our new kitchen and thoroughly happy with the work completed by Tark Custom Interiors.

Chris, the owner of Tark Custom Interiors and Remodeling, is creative and a craftsman when it comes to remodeling kitchens and bath. He took my old out dated kitchen, pantry and laundry room and fully updated it in a new configuration and included a waterfall island, which I love! At every step, we kept my budget in mind when adding features. When we started the project, I did not have a clear picture as to what was possible or latest options, except that I wanted a barn door! Chris expertly guided me to create a beautiful kitchen with updated pantry and laundry for me.

Chris and his team did an excellent job transforming my 90's bathroom! Went from a huge garden tub, small shower and an old tile floor to a beautiful walk-in shower, coordinating tile floor and a much needed linen closet! Love that Chris always let me know what to expect daily. Highly recommend!!

I could not have been happier with the professionalism and work completed by Chris and his team. The work was completed quickly and to the scope of the project that we had discussed. Chris planned a deck replacement for us and did an amazing job. After getting the architectural plans revised three times, getting HOA approval and satisfying and chasing down the town of Apex, he was finally able to begin. We hit a few challenges locating all of the supplies due to covid impacts on availability, but he nonetheless was able to pull off a fantastic rebuild and design of our deck. We even found out the builder hadn’t even used concrete footers! It is perfectly crafted, solid as a rock and will likely be here longer than the house! We couldn’t be more grateful for the hard work of Chris and his team, many long hours spent in the hot sun, well into the late evening, to give us a quality built new deck. I couldn’t say more positive things about Chris Tarquini. Not only is he a master craftsman, but his integrity and hard work are unparalleled. Much appreciation for all of the hard work and a perfectly finished project! I’d never hesitate to recommend him for any project.

Chris Tarquini is the best general contractor and custom cabinet maker. Chris remodeled all 3 of our 20+ year old bathrooms – removing all the old down to the studs and rebuilt them based on our requests and Chris’ suggestions to a Better Homes and Garden level. Having been recommended to me by the best real estate agent I've ever met, I engaged Tark Custom Interiors and Remodeling to do a small bathroom remodel for me, including changing out a tub for a top-end walk in shower. Everything was done correctly and quickly. Communication was top notch - I cannot stress this enough, poor communication from a contractor stressed me out badly. The end cost was very close to the estimate (Approx $10k), in spite of my adding a small extra request. The final result was very nice, with all subcontractors treating the job as if it was their home. I was especially pleased with the tiling work, done by a contractor who worked more like an artist than a craftsman. This being 2 years later, I can confirm that the work has held up admirably.

Built and installed custom cabinets and mirrors for bathroom and powder room. Prepared clear and complete proposal. Prompt and frequent communication from proposal to completion. Stayed on schedule. Completed punch list as requested. Cabinet construction is solid and stylish.

Chris and his team were really fantastic. They offered a fair price for our project, were professional and finished the project in the timeline outlined for us. They were also willing to accommodate some last minute changes as the project went along. Nice guy and conscientious person doesn't begin to describe Chris. He is very dedicated, works unbelievably hard to make sure things get done. Chris made many recommendations on different ways I might consider the installations, he recognized what was important to me and came up with changes suchas a curbless shower entry and trim recommendations. I, unfortunately, ordered cabinets from Lowes (big mistake) but hired Chris for everything else. Lowes continually screwed up and I still am having conversations with them about completing repairs of damages they caused. However, Chris worked really hard to accomplish the rest of the project. Chris would come in behind each portion of the Lowes installation and finish the rest. What should have taken a month took four but Chris at each Lowes completion came in and did whatever portion he could immediately so I could get into my home. Chris came back after each of his various installers (floor, tile, granite, plumber and electrician) to insure their work was properly done and if there was something not quite right he would take care of it, even if that meant working into the evening. Committed, dedicated, creative, talented overall professional.
