Mary created the perfect landscape from a large pile of ideas I collected over 10 years. It unique and perfect for us incorporating California natives and working with our 60 year cedar tree. We have referred her to several friends!

Dateo Design developed a lovely design for our front yard lawn conversion, providing not only low-water-use plantings and irrigation redesign, but also extensive consultation and guidance on the state rebate process and paperwork. The new Dateo-designed front yard landscaping continues to turn the heads of passersby and has reduced our water usage by 2/3!

Dateo Design did the design for both our back and front lawn replacement projects. Both projects included flagstone hardscape, and the front lawn included a river-stone streambed to capture storm water runoff. Mary was super easy to work with. For both projects she first met with us to figure out what we wanted, then provided three draft design plans. We then sat down and created a final design plan that was a culmination of what we liked most from the three draft plans. We are really happy with how the designs came out. Not only that but Mary came out and helped us out with the work for the backyard, which we did ourselves without any contractor support. I highly recommend Dateo Design, she did a fabulous job for our projects.
