I am writing to share my experience with Landscapes Unlimited, specifically regarding a significant project involving a $50,000 retaining wall installation. My aim is to provide an honest account of the post-installation service I received, which may be beneficial for potential customers considering this company for their landscaping needs. Last year, I entrusted Landscapes Unlimited with a substantial retaining wall installation at my property. The initial phases of the project, including the design and installation, were executed with professionalism. However, some months after the completion, I noticed structural issues with the retaining wall, particularly separation at the corners. I reached out to Landscapes Unlimited, expecting a swift and effective response given the warranty and the project's value. My initial communication with the company was in July 2022, where I was instructed to submit a warranty request, which I did promptly. While the initial response from the company was timely and polite, promising action during their September/October warranty period, the follow-through has been disappointing. Despite multiple emails, phone calls, and assurances of a visit to assess the warranty, my request remains unaddressed as of December 1st, 2023. This lack of action and communication from Landscapes Unlimited has been both frustrating and concerning. While I initially had a positive view of Landscapes Unlimited based on the quality of their installation work, the subsequent customer service and warranty handling have significantly marred my experience. It is disheartening to see such a lack of urgency and communication, especially considering the project's significant financial and aesthetic importance to my property. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for Landscapes Unlimited. Potential customers should be aware of my experience, particularly regarding the post-installation service and warranty follow-up. I remain hopeful for a resolution and a better outcome in handling future customer service queries and warranty issues.
