DC Patio was a subcontractor to the vendor I hired to do a bunch of landscaping work and to build a patio. I couldn't be more in love with my patio or the entire experience working with Doug and his crew. They have been professional and responsive to every question and small issue that arose. They completed the job on time and everyone who sees my patio says it looks like a magazine. And it does! If I ever need anything again, I will hire these guys in a second. Couldn't recommend them more.

Doug, Mike and their team did an excellent job. Brought my vision to reality at reasonable cost. Job involved a new stone wall, flagstone walkway/porch, and plantings to go with. They were down to earth to work with, gave me good advice, and did quality work on schedule. I would hire them again and recommend them to my family and friends in Derwood.

Mike and his team removed sandstone overlay from our front stairs, which was labor-intensive, then applied a slate overlay. We choose pavers for the walkway. Colors and suggestions of patterns and new handrails were Mike's suggestions and we are really so pleased with the choices! Excellent job! Highest recommendation

Mike Erickson and the DCPatio team installed a > 500 sq. ft. dual tier patio with steps, lights, a path and landscaping in our backyard. After interviewing multiple contractors we chose DCPatio due to Mike's professionalism and positive reputation as a reference from a coworker. The quoting process was first rate with Mike giving us a-la-carte pricing for different materials, features and styles to allow us to customize our design and price point to our exact specifications and budget. As it was very early spring and we were eager to get started, Mike was able to schedule us to begin immediately and the team arrived and began work on the yard the very next business day. The old patio and garage was removed, the land was excavated, trees were pulled, a landscaping fabric was laid, multiple layers of crushed stone and sand were compacted, pavers and edging were installed, paver edging was staked into the ground, paver edging applied, electrical cables and lights were run, and the pavers, steps and polymeric sand was applied. Other than a one day rain delay, the patio was completed within a week and a half and looks fantastic. Although he lives in Maryland, Mike personally stopped by to visit nearly every day and kept us appraised through the entire process. Installing a large, expensive patio was the largest upgrade that we’ve completed on our house since we bought it and is a bit nerve wracking but Mike and the team made it painless for us. We cannot wait for the weather to warm up and enjoy it and highly recommend Mike and his team on a quality installation that I expect will last for many, many years.

Wonderful experience! Mike, the owner, helped me create a cozy outdoor space last Fall that is truly the envy of the neighborhood. From initial concept to final installation, Mike and his team were able to exceed my expectations at every turn. Several varieties of material options were presented (pavers and stone), and ultimately I chose a beautiful natural flagstone, with a stacked stone seat wall and matching fire pit. Little touches like tiny decorative river gravel to fill the joints, make it feel like custom craftsmanship! It's gorgeous, and I continue to get compliments from friends and neighbors. Mike is very knowledgeable on landscaping, and you can tell he enjoys his work. The installation team worked extremely hard, and were a joy to watch putting things together. They were very friendly, and I appreciated them tidying up the site at the end of each day. I would highly recommend DC Patio to anybody who is looking to create a unique outdoor space. I have already referred two co-workers to them, and will gladly continue to do so. I also plan to hire them again when I'm ready to renovate my front entrance walkway. DCPatio has built a beautiful patio with flag stones. Since the work was so perfect, we asked them to re-do the entire driveway. It also looks great! The process of picking the stones was thorough until we found the one we really like. Designing was also accommodating to what we need. The work was completed almost as scheduled. The owner of the business is very sincere about their services and the workers are such hard working people.
