Ken Steenstra Landscaping, Inc. began in 1987. The company started on a smaller scale doing mainly lawn maintenance and snow plowing. Northwest Bergen County has always been our focus area. The company quickly grew to include landscape construction, excavation, lighting, design, drainage, etc. In 1997 Peter Hook joined our company and remains co-owner with Ken. This partnership has allowed Ken Steenstra Landscaping to continue providing quality service and professionalism for the total care of your property. Together we can give individual attention to our customers, assuring that the job is done to your satisfaction. Peter runs the maintenance portion of our business. He is also pesticide certified and takes care of all fertilizer programs. We always have ample crews working in order to provide timely and quality service. Ken runs the construction end of our business. He is a certified ICPI (Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute) contractor and a segmented concrete retaining wall contractor. The goal of Ken Steenstra Landscaping is to provide professional service through quality products, reliable employees and expediting jobs in a timely fashion. We pride ourselves on fairness and honesty, giving our customers what is promised to them.
