Liquid Landscapes Aquatic Design

Liquid Landscapes was founded (totally by accident) by Rick Gattone while he was looking for a new "real job" and soon forgot to keep looking for one. He has been designing, building and maintaining water feartures in the Chattanooga, TN and Southeast since 1996. Being in the right place and right time enabled him to train with and eventually hire some fine faux stone artsits who taught him what they could add to his arsenal of skills. He has drawn inspiration from the many streams, waterfalls and rock outcrops surrounding the Chattanooga area. He is a 1986 graduate from the University of West Georgia with a BBA in Business Administration, worked in project management and owned and operated a moving and storage company in Atlanta before finding his calling. He has resided in the paradise of Wildwood, GA, just outside of Chattanooga, TN, since he left Atlanta in 1995 to be closer to the hanggliding and caving available in Northwest Georgia. Liquid Landscapes started out in the residential market. From the very beginning we knew we had an eye for design and the attention to detail homeowners want and deserve. We continue to strive for excellence by learning and developing advanced techniques in both construction practices and design skills. Lots of landscapers and stone masons say they build water features, but many lack the knowledge of filtration and hydraulics and the construction skills required to create a long lasting, easy to maintain, properly functioning system.
