“The guys did a very nice job for me, they took the time needed to do the prep work correctly, which took time but the results made it worth it. The driveway done with pavers looks awesome, we modified the pattern to make it more special and its looks great. They cleaned up the street and surroundings , which to me , was very important.”

“We re-landscaped a 12 year old 4700 sq foot house that we had purchased the summer before. The front of the house faces a golf course and when you drive up to the house, you are approaching it from the back, which is unusual for this area. No one knew what door to approach to enter the house. Anne at Gnome created a beautiful design that leads people around to the front of the house. The driveway, stonewalls, and plantings are so beautiful that it takes our guests a long time to arrive at our front door from their parked car because they stop and admire everything. Gnome also installed a large gazebo near an existing tennis court and created a beautiful patio with stone walls in front of the gazebo. They added plantings around the tennis court to improve the area between our tennis court and our neighbor's back yard. Gnome expanded and added to the planting area along our driveway creating privacy for us with plants. They also added stone pillars to the beginning of our driveway that mark where our property begins and the public road ends. Additionally, gnome tweaked the existing gardens around the rest of the property, addressed drainage and excess water issues, and regraded our driveway. In summary, Gnome solved a lot of problems for us in a beautiful way. People remark to us all the time about how beautiful our property is.”

“A WIN/WIN SOLUTION: ONE GORGEOUS MULTILEVEL PATIO I had spent three years shopping for a landscape design firm, and had narrowed it down to three firms. I had some idea about my patio, stone work, and layout. It was a multi level project with several entrances and exits. John and his team came through for us at every point in the project. He was generous with his time, creative with his solutions, thoughtful and damn good. We had some difficult terrain issues he was able to navigate. His work crew were polite, cleaned up after themselves and took every step to insure I was happy with the project as it went along. John and crew had some great suggestions for placement of newly found boulders with the excavation, and made excellent use of both granite and blue stone I had from the old patio. His price was not the lowest, but it was more than fair and considering the final outcome it was a bargain. He started and finished on time. What more could I ask?”

We next had him lay in a bluestone walkway. A true artist. The time and care that he put into the walkway shows his true dedication. We toped everything off with a gothic arch. “Hanlon Stone completed two projects at our condo building. The first was a 75 foot walkway using Genest Katahdin pavers. We then used Jamie again for an extensive redesign of the hardscaping around the front of the building. This involved rebuilding around 100 feet of stonewall, adding multiple sets of granite steps, and building several bluestone landings. The quality of the work was outstanding on both projects. Jamie takes pride in his craft, and the results are obvious. He is very easy to work with. Great communication and flexibility throughout. Competitive pricing. Highly recommended for projects large and small!”
