Lighting is an exceptionally important component of most interior, landscape, or architectural projects. I have found Escent Lighting to be a valuable resource with highly knowledgeable, professional, and engaged support. I appreciate and applaud their commitment to design.

We remodeled and expanded the island in our open floor plan kitchen. Escent's Beth provided two lighting plan options to meet our project needs and our stated desires with different price points for us to consider. We wanted task and ambient lighting, but needed to work with a high, sloping, angled ceiling. She thoroughly explained the options in the fixtures she proposed, including the pros and cons of single and two-circuit track systems. We ultimately chose Tech Lighting's T-track s-curve two-circuit system with 3 spots and 3 Melrose Tahoe pine amber pendants. The system is stout, and the look is luxurious! We love the lighting flexibility we have with both sets of fixtures on dimmer switches. The lighting beautifully shows off, but also complements, our new granite-topped island. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Beth and Escent and will definitely seek their expertise on our next project.

Escent has enhanced the lighting in our home (kitchen, baths, media room, living area, landscape, etc.) over the past 15 years. The staff at Escent are professional, extremely knowledgeable, and value client input. Escent’s lighting designers are comfortable with budget constraints and offer energy efficient options which also reduce maintenance costs. I continually went in front of the store front and enjoyed their displays. Finally I stop in to see .... This was a few years ago and the begining of a friendship and great business opportunity. Elizabeth searched for, and found, a hanging light fixture, I only had found in a magazine, designed an incredible replacement to my dining room fixture, found bedroom fixtures and even shipped fixtures to our condo in Hawaii. As an architect, I valued the impact good lighting design could have on the success of our home remodel project. Escent Lighting guided us with placement and selection of our built-in lighting fixtures for our great room (kitchen, dining, living area), entry and hallway. The lighting consisted of recessed fixtures for task and accent lighting, suspensed fixtures at focus areas (entry, dining, peninsula), and accent lighting above cabinets and under toe spaces. The result is functional and aesthetically pleasing, and allows us to change the character of our space depending on our purpose. We were very pleased working with Escent Lighting. They were practical and creative, and great at listening to our vision. They respected our budget while continually presented new ideas that enhanced our project.

Elizabeth Pece at Escent Lighting designed and arranged installation of the exterior lighting and dining room lighting at our home, as well as replacing outdated fixtures in several other rooms. We had Escent design and install kitchen and den lighting. They were most helpful in helping us evaluate the options. We were impressed by their knowledge of lighting design They came to the house several times and worked with the installing electrician. What impressed me most was the continuing customer service; several years after the installation we had trouble with one the fixtures and they were helpful in tracking down the problem and getting me a replacement part. Escent is a wonderful company to work with. Especially Elizabeth and Christina. They know their business and are helpful and professional. I hired this company for two separate projects - one was for my business and the other was for a personal residence. The lighting and options they found for me were right on. Since these projects have been complete, I have asked them to research other lighting for me and have also needed their assistance for replacing broken or damaged lights and, every time, they follow-through, they are helpful, and they are responsive to my needs. I strongly recommend Escent if you are looking for a lighting company with professionals that enjoy what they do and want to do their best to meet your needs. I am also familiar with other local businesses who have used them and the lighting they provided and designed for their spaces are phenominal. They are by far the best in eastern Washington.

Hired Elizabeth and her firm to do the lighting design for our new home. We were very pleased with her work. We were on a tight budget by the time we got to lighting. Elizabeth made good use of the budget we had. She came up with several ideas that gave us beautiful fixtures for not much money. For example, we wanted a dramatic fixture over our dining room table but couldn't afford what we liked. She found several decorative globes left over from other projects that she put together to make one beautiful fixture, at a fraction of the cost. We have received many compliments on that fixture.

Used Escent Lighting personnel to research and then purchase high tech home lighting systems. Staff was knowledgable and extremely professional. I am a demanding client and extremely knowledgable. I did my own installations and they were helpful in providing any assistance / information I needed. They have access to a broad range of products and are very current on new technologies for efficient and designer oriented lighting. The range of abilities, given the staff available is extremely broad. Service is prompt, polite and appropriate. Recommended without reservation.
