Ocean Pacific Lighting

I had a terrible experience with my return. It took me almost one month to receive my return money. So they had my money and the chandelier. When I finally received my money, they only returned half. They said they had to pay $145 to send it back to the manufacturer and then 20% restocking fee. So, on a chandelier I paid $450 for I received $229 back! When I purchased it I was not told about the restocking fee and if I knew that it would cost that much to send back I would of not purchased it! I was so frustrated with waiting for them to get an amount from the manufacturer on a delivery fee back, but they made no effort for any compensation. Just terrible service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. STAY AWAY!

As an established Interior Designer located in the White Rock – South Surrey area, I work primarily with a clientele of homeowners and contractors involved with high-end single-family homes. I provide consultation, design, and planning for new construction as well as residential renovations, and I occasionally get involved in the design work for select multi-family projects. A key aspects of my role as an Interior Designer involves creating a lighting plan and then the selection and specification of lighting. The ability to view and compare light fixtures and finishes in a showroom environment, supplemented with catalogues on hand as well as online, together with consulting with a knowledgably sales rep, is all very important to get a comprehensive overview of what is available to complete a project. As such, I need to have the resources, the access to information, and the various lighting samples all in one spot; and Ocean Pacific Lighting provides all of those things and more. I've been dealing with Ocean Pacific on an ongoing basis for about 16 years now, and almost exclusively since they moved into the Croyden Drive location just a few years ago. The friendly staff is always very welcoming to me and my clients, and their beautiful, sparkly showroom with it’s attractive display of current lighting fixtures, elegant accessories, and small accent furnishings, always provides inspiration. There is a comfortable work space where I can consult and plan together with my clients, and my sales rep is always available to provide product information, costs, shipping details, etc. From a technical standpoint, OP has recently updated their website and installed an easy-to-navigate site that filters various fixtures into categories from all of their suppliers by the type of light… and it’s complete with pricing! I love the ability to view and compare lighting, check specifications, and calculate the costs all in one place. They are the only lighting showroom in my experience that provides that service. When I consider all of that, combined with a more dedicated effort to ensure that my orders are promptly and carefully managed, the experience of shopping at Ocean Pacific Lighting is one that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone for any of their lighting needs.
