They were great to work with and helped to make our home even better with their knowledge of building custom homes. “After the Hurricane Harvey rebuild of our home, there were two cabinet doors that were damaged by our builder (not Framestead). The builder replaced with unfinished doors but told us to find our own contractor to do the staining. The local Sherwin Williams store recommended Framestead and their "stain expert", Jose. They did a great job matching the existing stain! I was concerned that contractors might not be interested in such a small job, but Framestead completed the work less than one week after my first contact with them.”

“Stearns designed and built a house, shop, and an open pole barn for my wife and I. All interactions and communications were professional and accurate. The design process was excellent with a view toward the best functionality and value. There were many opportunities to discuss pros and cons of various layouts and materials of construction. The process included selections for everything in the house and there were no (none) surprises at the end where basic things like light fixtures turned out to be "not included". The build process included weekly status communications and clear communication around changes--no doing something and then an unexpected cost adder. All change costs were dealt with up front in a professional way. It became clear to my wife and I that Stearns intended to deliver everything under the contract in a complete and quality fashion. There were some issues at the end concerning consistent operation of the automatic gate to the property. It took several months but this was dealt with to our complete satisfaction. At the close of our home contract, we asked Stearns to build a small floating dock on our pond, which they did for a very reasonable price. We are more than satisfied with the work by Stearns and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.”

“I had the owners, Sati and Sasha Yuksek, build a custom home for me in February of 2013. After jumping through hoops with other builders, Avan took the time to listen to the concerns of my wife and me. They walked us through the process and even did the design IN-HOUSE. They worked with me to minimize cost where we could so we could splurge on the things that matter most to us, namely the kitchen and master bathroom. In the end, we got an AMAZING home at a GREAT price from an HONEST company. I recommend these guys to LITERALLY everyone I know and would (and will) use them again.”
